  1. 3 rules really... Create an overpowered team (through normal transfer means, no cheating) Don't care how many goals you concede Do care about how many goals you score 😁 My first attempt 178
  2. Defence Almost all the challenges that exist so far are about the topic of attack, such as the 1k challenge, where the goal is that a player scores 1000 goals, but what if we turn around and try to lead a goalkeeper from the bottom to the very top, the goal is to lead a 16-year-old goalkeeper to a Champions League title The rules are simple: - the start club may not participate in the international competitions - No created players - no editor - the goalkeeper must be 16 years or younger - the reputation of the coach must be unknown At the end of the career, you can see how many goals he conceded, let's see who the best goalkeeper is Those who cheat will be excluded from the ranking, screenshots must be sent
  3. The 1000 Goal Challenge The simple ones are the best! Have a player score 1,000 goals and more in one epic career. The Rules You can manage any club in any league. Player can be real or regen. No preferences/unlockables unless unlocked in the save. No uses of text changes, save editor or IGE at all. No cheating - Restarting to avoid injuries counts as cheating!! International goals count, but only the ones scored in game and under your own management of that nation. So real life goals the player starts on don't count. You have to earn international management, so you can not start with it. A career can be posted but screenshots are needed as evidence. If requested you must upload your save so we can check no cheating has taken place via the save editor, failure to do this will result in you being rejected from the leader board. Own formations only SI databases only No Myclub or created players This handy guide from Prize may help you smash this challenge. 4. Parking up my Estavao goal challenge for a minute as I hit my inital target of 1k. So, been thinking of something a bit different that I've not seen before, Apologies if someone already has started or completed a similar challenge already. I've posted below a list of all the current players I could think of and their famous ex footballer fathers. The aim of the challenge will be to complete a domestic treble and European success in the same season. I am thinking England for the challenge to make it that little bit more difficult. The rules: Use any player you like in any position you chose, but they must have a famous footballing parent. If you make it long enough into the save and unlock your son, he is eligible. Use any unlockables you wish. No editor. Although ideally but not necessary, the entire squad should be made up of sons. If not possible, starting 11 will suffice. A couple of questions that need answering before we start: Which team should I attempt this challenge with? Am I missing any obvious players that anyone else can thing of, there is probably loads in other countries that I am not as familiar with so any input would be really helpful. Many thanks
  5. So far in its existence only 7 different teams have won the English Premiership: Arsenal Man City Man Utd Chelsea Blackburn Leicester Liverpool The challenge here is to win the Premiership with as many teams as possible over the span of your career. Can you beat 7 over 30 seasons? I'd say 10 is probably the max you could hope to achieve. Starting off I shall be taking the easy route and playing with Man City. Surely this will be an easy one and tick of a team in the 1st season.
  6. This challenge lasts ten seasons and is all about goals, assists, and how you manage your squad. For this challenge you must: Head to any club you want; Sign your first player; Make any other transfers you want; Not use any unlockables You then play one season, attempting to smash in goals left, right, and centre, dominating the world with your managerial genius. Your score for the first season is goals and assists for player 1. For the second season you buy a new player. You play the second season, destroying everything in sight. Your score for the second season is goals and assists for player 1 plus goals and assists for player 2. Then for the third season you sign player 3. Yep, your score for season 3 is goals and assists for players 1, 2, and 3. You do this for 10 seasons, ending up with 10 players contributing towards goals and assists in season 10. Your total score is all the season scores added together. At no point can your starting or new player be already at the club. All contributing players must be signed. There are no restrictions on tactics, whether the players have to start every game (all ten could be strikers!), or how you manage the squad. Just don’t cheat; it’s boring. Best of luck! 7. Hey Vibe, I've started and stopped many 1k challenges over almost a decade of FMM, but never really finished one, usually burning out, or failing to reach the mark. So instead I thought I would post here and hopefully give me some motivation to finish it off. My player: Nelson Weiper! An unconventional pick, I believe, this young striker from Mainz. I was drawn to him after seeing his development in a previous attempt with my current favourite player Assan Ouedraogo (i'll be grabbing this guy too as he always seems to become a beast). With Ouedraogo's attempt i was getting frustrated with his lack of Aerial and shoddy penalty rate, and found this guy while managing the German national team, I just hope he turns out as good in this save! This is what we are starting out with: Not too bad, and Mainz wouldn't let him go for cheap (22m in the end after some haggling), so here's hoping he has potential! The club: Inspired by the insane Lamine Yamal career going on at the moment at City, i needed Yanited to have a starlet of their own. Season 1 Here's how our first season panned out: Club: Sadly we came second in the Prem to City, theyre just too strong losing games only to me, but basically perfect scores the rest of the way. We did however manage a cup treble, narrowly beating Real Madrid on penalties to win the Champions league: Transfers: We brought in lots of Germans, in anticipation of managing the national team: Musiala, Ouedraogo, Bischof (wonderkid who seems to have some good potential), Brajan Gudra (Weiper's favoured person, and has some potential too), Vagnoman (an fm20 wonderkid throwback), and Christian Benteke for that sweet Aerial mentoring. Lord Nelson: Weiper has developed nicely, not anything crazy just yet but he is showing some promising signs, like his potential being greater than Hojlund's, which i'm sure makes him capable enough. Stats: Only 32 goals for Weiper this campaign, which is not a great start, but the team has barely gotten going. My tactics rely on some more specific player attributes, which despite being at manchester united, is hard to acquire, largely through lack of resale on our big stars. Its enough of a start while he is struggling for gametime too. Things can only get better! Its a slow start to be sure, but i am sure it will improve as he and the team get more improved. I'll probably tweak tactics some more since the winter update, but hopefully with some extra motivation of posting on vibe, i'll get him over the line eventually! Sneaky Ouedraogo fanclub section: Thanks for reading!
  8. The one that got away, a short back story of this kid, being a Rangers fan I've always kept an eye on the youth squads where possible, Rory Wilson at youth level was an incredible talent for Rangers scoring a insane amount of goals, which got him a transfer to Villa on his 16th birthday I believe when he was eligible for a pro contract, I along with alot of other Rangers fans were gutted to see this kid go, I haven't followed his since but Google shows he's done well at the villa U18s. So I've brought him home, not your typical 1k prospect starting out fairly weak and I doubt he has a hugely high ceiling like others (Even Ferguson for example) Starting attributes all he really has going for him is shooting and a wee bit of pace. End of season 1 stats his shooting, heading and movement have all spiked but not alot of movement elsewhere sadly and he's almost reached his peak which is worrying!! 43 goals in his first season from where he started I'm pretty happy with how he got on
  9. St. Pauli, or Freibeuter der Liga, are a club in the 2. Bundesliga who are known for their working class roots, and their fans are deeply imbedded in ideas of social activism and left wing politics. According to their wikipedia, “ The organization has adopted an outspoken stance against racism, fascism, sexism, and homophobia and has embodied this position in its constitution.” In a sports business driven by oil money and billionaires, a club like FC St. Pauli transforming the football landscape seems impossible, but this is exactly what this save sets out to do. The Objectives- Win the Bundesliga Win the DFB Pokal Win the Champions League All must be accomplished within 10 years The Tactics- I’ve alternated between a 4123 Gegenpress and @Cujang ‘s “Perfection” Tactic, a 23122. While the 23122 has had far more success, Injuries at times have pushed me into a system with a lone striker up front and needing more protection at the back. The Transfers- Like many of my saves, there was a huge amount of players being pushed out the door during the first transfer window, and a plethora of Loan players were brought in. Most notably was Shaqueel Van Persie, who struggled during his time at the Kiezkicker. The most notable purchase was Emmanuel Matei, a Romanian Striker from Ajax on whom 90% of the budget was spent, but had shown fantastic speed and strength for the 2 Bundesliga. Matei went on to score 14 goals in roughly 30 starts. First season results- Despite a brutal midseason slump- with St. Pauli drawing or losing in 6 consecutive matches- the tide began to turn in February, and was highlighted by a victory against crosstown rivals Hamburg, whom we lost 5-2 against earlier in the season. With promotion comes an influx of cash that St. Pauli is unfamiliar with- immediately youth and training facilities were improved, and money was used to scoop up a number of notable players for their first season in return to the Bundesliga since 2010-11. The highlight of these acquisitions was undoubtedly Joel Matip. Other players expected to immediately make the starting XI include Baghdad Bounedjah, Diant Ramaj, Marin Soticek, Onurhan Babuscu, and Nikit Krivtsiov. With 6 big signings, and 13m left in the transfer budget- what other big moves would St. Pauli make to ensure they battled above relegation?
  10. I’ve tried 1k challenges multiple times, but I tend to get bored after a couple of seasons. So this for this challenge, to speed things up, you are only allowed to manage one international side. The goal is to score as many international goals with one player of your choosing. The rules are that the player cannot have scored any senior international goals before you choose him. Nkunku for example would be okey. He has played a few caps but hasn’t scored any international goals. You can only manage the international side, no club teams. the challenge is finished when the player retires or you get fired. most goals win, if equal the least caps wins. Pick your player wisely. Edit: No scheduling your own friendlies. Only the “automatic” friendlies.
  11. Simple concept.....from the first game of the season your first team & subs must only consist of players 19 and under. (They can turn 20 during the season). Lets see what you can win. You can manage any club in any league. Player can be real or regen. No preferences/unlockables unless unlocked in the save. No uses of text changes, save editor or IGE at all. No cheating - Restarting to avoid injuries counts as cheating! A career can be posted but screenshots are needed as evidence. If requested you must upload your save so we can check no cheating has taken place via the save editor, failure to do this will result in you beingrejected from the leader board. Own formations only SI databases only No Myclub or created players
  12. Figured I should make this an official challenge in case anyone else fancies taking it on. A twist on ‘it’s a long way to the top’ the aim is to take the lowest positioned league in Europe (rank 49 out of 54) and see how high you can drag the league up in the coefficient ranking. It’s probably not just about you doing well here, you’ll have to get creative and help other teams in the league do well in Europe. Do you sell star players to your domestic rivals? Do you buy their deadwood for silly money and hope they reinvest. You’ll also need to do well in the CL yourself of course. Rules: - You must start with unknown reputation, no coaching badge, no title and no unlockables unless you get them yourself during the save - You must start with Wales, N Ireland, Ireland, Scotland and England leagues loaded. - You must start with any team in the JD Cymru North or South leagues. I think that covers everything but if I’ve missed anything, basically no perks from the start and no cheating/reloading. Let’s see what’s possible.

  14. The Double Trouble Challenge Introduction Shearer-Sutton, Collymore-Fowler, Owen-Heskey, Yorke-Cole, Henry-Berkamp, Raul-Morientes, Del Piero-Trezuguet or going back even further, the likes of Rush-Dalglish or even further back Puskas-Di Stefano. And of course, more recently, Rooney-Van Persie. These are some of the great strike partnerships in the history of football. These Players feed off each other and strike terror in the hearts of opposition defenders. These Players who more than anything else, put the ball in the net again and again, time after time. The challenge is simple enough, but can you beat it? Objective The objective of this challenge is to have two strikers score a combined total of 1200 goals. As an additional challenge one may attempt to also rack up a combined 600 assists between the pair. Rules The two strikers must both be playing as strikers at all times (Both strikers A and B must be playing in a forward role ~ no advanced playmakers! ~ Trequartistas are fine) You must use a tactic with two strikers at all times. That means no formations with one up top! Both Real Players and Regens are allowed No Unlockables/Cheats can be used No use of the in game editor No reloading to avoid injuries International Goals count, but only those a player scores in game. Also both strikers must be of the same nationality for it to count. Screenshots are required as evidence Leaderboard @Gazzaeverton - Celtic - Tom Cannon & Evan Ferguson - 1246gls
  15. The Triple Threat Challenge This challenge was originally created by @J-savage The Challenge This challenge is simple yet challenging as the aim of the game is to get three strikers to score 1500 goals as a trio. Rules Own formations only. No use of the editors, myclub or anything like that so no created players or editing of existing ones. Original database only. No cheating which includes reloading. Photo evidence will be required so i suggest posting a career thread for us to follow. All three players must play in a striking position (FL-FC-FC-FC-FR) and you must play a three up front tactic at all times. Any league and any team is fair game. No unlockables unless earned in that save. International goals only count towards the total if the three players share a nationality and when you become manager of that country. Leaderboard

  17. Welcome to Challenge 1 in the Ribbons of Glory series. To get us started, we're taking Bruno for a spin at Man Utd to see how many goals and assists he can get. This replicates Bruno's New Year Party from the original Badges of Honour series. It was @Ian who topped the leaderboard in that challenge with 169 points - I wonder who'll top this sequel! Is it harder or easier to do this in FMM23 than it was in FMM21? Do tactics still work the same? The Details Here are the details: The Player: Bruno Fernandes The Club: Manchester United Length: 1 season The Benchmark: To qualify for the leaderboard (and a ribbon), Bruno needs to score 25 goals and 15 assists. Leadership Board Points: 1 point for a goal, 2 points for an assist, across all competitions (but not friendlies) Rules No Unlockables; No cheating (no editing, no scouting apps, no reloading etc); Own formations; Any badge and reputation; Any database; Transfers, etc, allowed; You can attempt the challenge multiple times, but only your top score will be on the leaderboard; Again, don’t be a cheat Credits Credit to @Rob for the Badges of Honour concept. 18. Hello and welcome to the 11th instalment of the Badges Of Honour challenges. The concept came from @Rob and the links to the badges can be found here: This challenge only really came to me in the last day or so but I was eager to get a fun challenge out. I thought who better to dedicate a challenge too than Christian Eriksen, who unfortunately collapsed on the pitch at the Euros this past summer. It’s unknown at the moment if he will be able to carry on his career. But the main thing is he survived it. So why not make a challenge all about him? The Challenge So the challenge in this is easy, I love fun and simple challenges for the badges, something people can just crack on with and have fun. It’s all about his all round contribution. You will be scored on goals, assists and his average rating over two seasons. Now you’re probably thinking how I’ll be judging his average rating, well it’s quite simple, if he has an average of 7.01 for the season thats an extra 1 point, if he gets a rating of 8.34 over the season it’s an extra 134 points for that season. Anything under 7, there is no bonus points. Thought that would spice it up a bit. Club Choice I will allow any clubs to be used, so we can have a bit of a variation in attempts. Score You will be scored on goals, assists and average rating for each of the two seasons in all competitions. For the average rating, for every 0.01 above 7.00, you will get 1 point, so an average rating of 7.34 is 34 points extra for that season. If you get 8.34, that’s an extra 134 points. Any questions just ask. REMEMBER ITS TWO SEASONS SO YOU HAVE A CHANCE AT EXTRA BONUS POINTS EACH SEASON. How To Gain The Badge To gain the badge you to hit the benchmark which is 30 contributions each season, the 30 can consist of either goals or assists. You also need Christian to have an average rating above 6.99 for each season. Rules No unlockables; No cheating; Own formations; And that means don’t steal the BP and change one instruction - you know who you are! That is cheating; Any badge and reputation; Any database; Transfers, etc, allowed; You can attempt the challenge multiple times, but only your top score will be on the leaderboard; Again, don’t be a cheat Enjoy and if you think I’ve left something out, which would not surprise me, just let me know 😁 Leaderboard 1. @Dai_ - 405 points Link Here 2. 3.
  19. Badge 11 - Big Man, Little Man This challenge was originally created for the Vibe World Cup 2021 but it proved so popular a couple of people had multiple goes at it so with permission from @Rob I have made it into part of the Badge series of challenges. You can find more information on the Badges of Honour series of challenges here. This challenge is all about teamwork namely the team work between a front two and specifically the classic big man, little man pairing. The front two of a big target man who can hold the ball up and win flick on’s and get on the end of crosses paired with a small quick poacher was a staple of British football for years. It is now rarely seen even in the lower leagues but it can still be an effective tactic if used correctly. In this challenge you are going to make your own big man, little man pairing with the big man charged with getting assists and the little man the goals. Both these players must be natural strikers and they both must play together up front in any of the 4 striker positions. Points will be awarded for big man assists and little man goals but points will also be taken away for every goal you big man gets and every assist your little man makes. Here is the full low down on the rules to explain it all better. Club Choice: You can manage any club in any league that is in the vanilla DB. That includes lower leagues as well. Challenge Duration: This a full season challenge and goals and assists in all competitions count. Transfers: You can only make 1 transfer into the club in this challenge and that is either your Big Man or your Little Man. One of these two must start at the club already with the other one being bought. No other transfers in are allowed but you can sell players. Big Man Rules: This player must be a natural striker (light green in striker position) when you either buy him or you join the club and he must have a minimum of 14 aerial and 14 strength. Little Man Rules: This player must be a natural striker (light green in striker position) when you either buy him or you join the club and he must have no more than 9 aerial. Tactic Rules: You must play your Big Man and Little Man up front at all times but they can play as wide forwards if you want. Database: You must use the official FMM database but you can choose if it’s the November or March versions. No unlockables are allowed but you can have whatever coaching badge and reputation you wish. No editing, reloading, holidaying or cheating in anyway. Proof via screenshots are required and the best way to do this is with a career thread. Points You will get 2 points for every assist your Big Man gets. You will get 2 points for every goal your Little Man get. You will get -1 point for every goal your Big Man gets. You will get -1 point for every assist your Little Man gets. As with all the Badge challenges there is a benchmark score to beat in order to earn this fine badge. I have based the benchmark on the average score across the 14 attempts in the VWC21 which came out at 121pts so that is what you just beat although attempts from the VWC don’t count so you will need to give it another go. Benchmark: 122pts or more earns you the Badge. Leaderboard @Dai_ - PSG - Mbappe and Rafael Leão - 194pts @FuddledFox - Liverpool - Salah and Diego Costa - 173pts - link
  20. Badges Of Honour 10 - The Future Is Now Hello and welcome to the 10th instalment of the Badges Of Honour challenges. The concept came from @Rob and the links to the badges can be found here: This is based on the dominance that Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have had on the world of football over the past 15 or so years. And it made me think will we ever see anything like this again? Highly unlikely. But there are two players who are really standing out at the moment and at such a young age they are arguably scoring more than Messi and Ronaldo. And them two players are Eirling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe who have already scored 122 and 158 respectively in there young careers. I really wanted to create a fun challenge for only one season, so that anyone can have a go and enjoy a fun season. The Challenge So the challenge is simple. You take charge of Haaland and Mbappe for a season and see how much you can get out of both players. Your final score will consist of how many goals and assists both get in all competitions. The benchmark will be 30 goals each for them in all completions. I want to keep this as simple as possible as I think it will be really fun challenge and I’m hoping plenty will have a go. Club Choice I went back and forth thinking should I just use PSG for this. But then I thought no, let’s make it more interesting and let you pick whatever team tickles your fantasy. So you are allowed to go any club as long as you can sign both players. How To Gain Your Badge This is very simple. Just make sure that each player has scored 30 or more goals in all competitions. I didn’t want to make this a tough benchmark. I want this to be as competitive as possible and I’m sure we’ll get a lot of great scores on this one. Score The goals and assists from both players in all competitions will be added together and will give your final score. Rules: No unlockables; No cheating; Own formations; And that means don’t steal the BP and change one instruction - you know who you are! That is cheating; Any badge and reputation; Any database; Transfers, etc, allowed; You can attempt the challenge multiple times, but only your top score will be on the leaderboard; Again, don’t be a cheat Credit to @Robfor the badges of honour concept and credit to @FuddledFox for the beautiful design at the start of the post. 21. Last edition, we saw the inclusion of derbies in the game and it was a nice addition. @George Traistă posted a great career highlighting the different derbies in the footballing world today. That can be found here. So, why not have a challenge surrounding them? The Challenge Club Choice: You may manage any team in any league/division that you want but they should be involved in at least one derby in the season. Rules: The usual rules apply of no editing, standard DB , no unlockables and no reloading. Score: Your score will be the highest derby win streak that you can put on. The minimum benchmark to qualify for the leaderboard is 4. Evidence: You will need to provide screenshots of your derby wins. Enjoy Leaderboard
  22. (Credit, and thanks, to @FuddledFox for the badge design) Wayne Rooney: England and Manchester United’s top ever scorer, one of only two English players to win the Premier League, FA Cup, UEFA Champions League, League Cup, UEFA Europa League, and FIFA Club World Cup, and now the proud manager of Derby. It is the banks of the River Derwent where the seventh Badge of Honour docks. The challenge is to manage Derby for one season and guide them to success. You must also one of the most gifted players of his generation the swansong he deserves. Your score will be league points, Rooney goals, and Rooney assists. After a tough benchmark on challenge six, this challenge has an easier one: win promotion. There is no benchmark for assists and goals. The generic rules are here: No unlockables; No cheating; Own formations; And that means don’t steal the BP and change one instruction - you know who you are! That is cheating; Any badge and reputation; Any database; Transfers, etc, allowed; You can attempt the challenge multiple times, but only your top score will be on the leaderboard; Again, don’t be a cheat Get scoring, assisting, and lead the Rams to glory! 23. Hi folks, not sure how this works being a bit new... but I had an idea for a challenge that I'll take on myself eventually, quite slowly and probably badly too. I thought I'd share in case anyone else thought it was worth a go. So, the task is to emulate the feats of Herbert Chapman and the three times in a row league winners of Huddersfield Town and Arsenal in the 1920s and 1930s (a bit of trivia for you, I think Chapman only won 2 in a row with both clubs due to leaving Town and then his untimely passing but we'll ignore that for now). My take is this, take charge of Huddersfield Town (but maybe another Championship club if you have an aversion!), take them to the Premier, win the league 3 times in a row, then take charge of Arsenal (or perhaps another Premier League club if you have another aversion!!) and win the league three times in a row again. To add the challenge element, the goal is to do this in the shortest time and then as a tie breaker by spending the least money. Any thoughts? P.S. I might have used my first save as a trial for this but I got sacked by Huddersfield for losing in the playoff final in the first two seasons... not that I'm bitter!
  24. This is similar to the Copa America Challenge but we shift our focus to AFCON. These are the list of winners who have won the AFCON multiple times: DR Congo also won it twice but since there is a scarcity of players available in the database, i have omitted them. Although if you get a player, you can replace either Algeria or Ivory Coast with them. Now, how does this relate to your challenge??
