  1. Version 1

    1,250 downloads

Spreadsheet has all players with a PA of 165+ or -9. Additionally has each players Consistency, Injury Proneness, and Ambition attributes. Other info such as Age, Nationality, Club, Position, and Value are there. This is v1 and undoubtedly some will need tweaks/changes here or there, as it takes a mountain of data to compile this. Moving forward since there will be no more database updates, let me know if there is additional data you would like to be added (attributes). I hope to expand this as well down to 160+ PA, but that will be a work in progress.
  2. Two shortlists for FMH 2014 1. A fairly comprehensive listing of the best U19 Wonderkids - U19 intentionally so you can train them the way you want, and get the most out of them. 2. A tight 3 page listing of the top-rated older players of age range 32 to 40 that will soon become Regens, many of the old favourites are there. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/32215866/FM2014-Shortlists.zip
  3. I have always assumed that the average PA of all the players in the game doesn't differ from league to league. I extended this to thinking that this would mean that the number of in game stars or "wonderkids" (I set this at an arbitrary 180 PA or greater) would also be consistent no matter which database you chose as your starting league. However having played most of my careers in England, I have recently branched out to other countries and whilst playing a career as coach of Bayern noticed that Emre Can had a PA of 200. This caused me to realise that I have never encountered this whilst playing in England. This seemed weird so I decided to run a little experiment (yes I know I have way to much time on my hands or at least am too anal). Anyway the conditions for the experiment were this 1. Pick a club and create a new game for that club. Count how many players 24 yo or younger who had a PA of at least 180. As an extra, also register how many players had a PA of 190 or greater (so-called superstars). This means that the count would include those players with a hard coded PA such as Balotelli or Ter Stegen. 2. Repeat this at least 10 times 3. Experiment conducted with FHM2014 Update. 4. Note I only chose one league for each game, so I have no idea whether larger databases would affect these results The results were as follows: Game starting with coaching ManU Average Players 180+ : 21.5 Average Players 190+: 2 Sample Size: 11 Game starting with coaching Barcelona 180+ : 22.9 190+: 3.2 Sample size: 20 Game starting with coaching Bayern: 180+: 24 190+: 2.8 Sample Size: 10 Game starting as coach of Liverpool and England 180+: 19.3 190+: 1.7 Sample Size: 17 Game starting as coach of ManU and England 180+: 20.3 190+: 1.9 Sample Size: 10 Coaching Barcelona and Spain 180+: 23.3 190+: 2.9 Coaching Bayern and Italy 180+: 25 190+: 2.5 Coaching FCP and Portugal 180+: 24.6 190+: 2.5 Conclusions Given it is a small sample size, I don't believe any hard conclusions should be drawn. But the results suggest the following observations; 1. That some leagues are more conducive for producing super stars (PA 190+) than others. 2. Some leagues are more conducive for producing stars (PA180+) than others. 2. If some leagues are more conducive to producing stars than others this might change which leagues you choose depending on what you are looking for in your game. England for example will probably make you long more for regens than Germany say. 3. As an additional observation, I have only encountered 1 instance of a player with a PA of 200 in any of the English games. However both Spain and Germany had a number of instances of this occurring. I regret not recording this now but I estimate somewhere in the order of 20% of the generated games in these 2 leagues had one (never more) player with a max PA 4. I didn't measure whether league chosen had any affect on the countries from which the stars were generated from but incidental observations suggests not.
