  2. Analyzing the Top 10 Advanced Playmakers of FMH 2013 and Predicting How They Will Fare in FMH 2014 The title really does tell you guys exactly what this article will be about. Essentially, this will be an in-depth review of the top 10 Advanced Playmakers in FMH 2013, an analysis of how they fared in real life this past season, and a preview of how they may stack up in FMH 2014. Every week, I will release two new updates in the string of 10 which hopefully give me enough time to wrap this up by the release of FMH 2014. Anyways, I think I know exactly what the words on all your lips are - How did you pick the top 10 Advanced Playmakers in FMH 2013? Well, all I did really was follow this simple criteria: Firstly, I loaded a England only save onto the save editor and picked the top 20 players who could play in the AMC/AMR/AML position according to CA. Then I whittled down the list as such: Only players with a natural position in AMC/AML/AMR were considered. This ruled out players like Andres Iniesta and Cesc Fabregas. Only players with stats suited to those of an Advanced Playmaker were considered. In other words, stats in Movement, Passing, Decisions and Creativity and Technique must all have been at least 15. This ruled out players like Steven Gerrard. Only players playing as Advanced Playmakers in Real Life were considered. This ruled out players like Marco Reus. And so, that left me with a list of the best 10 Advanced Playmakers in FMH 2013. Without further ado, let's launch into the study of Player Number 10!!! 10. Mario Goetze Introduction Mario Goetze has probably been one of the most talked about players in the world over the course of the last twelve months. From his acrimonious transfer to Bayern Munich to his absence from the Champions League Final to his superb fom for Borussia Dortmund, Goetze has certainly made all kinds of waves in the past year. An exceptionally talented individual, the 21 year old first joined Borussia Dortmund at the age of just eight years old. He was handed his first professional appearance at the age of just 17 and broke into the first team the very next season. He hasn't since looked back, helping Dortmund to 2 Bundesliga Titles and 1 DFB-Pokal. Just this past transfer window, Goetze completed a 45 Million Euro move to bitter rivals Bayern Munich. FMH 2013 Mario is certainly deserving of his place in this top ten as is clear from his stats at the start of the game. What is even more remarkable though is the fact that Mario grows a lot more as time progresses. That being said, even now he is already a deadly Advanced Playmaker though, with absolutely ridiculous stats in key areas such as Creativity, Passing, Movement and Decisions and Technique 2012/13 Performance Goetze's performance last season was nothing short of sensational. As well as helping his team to the Champions League final, Goetze scored an incredible 16 goals and 21 assists! Plus, he was able to procreate a move for himself to perhaps the best team in the world at the moment, Bayern Munich. Comparison VS Previous Seasons Compared to previous seasons, Goetze had a pretty good season last time around. It was certainly statistically his best one to date, especially after coming off a serious injury in 2011/12. However, his breakthrough 2010/11 season does come very close, especially when one considers that he had limited playing time that season. From the graphic above it is clear that Goetze had his best season so far as a footballer in 2012/13. Combined with his big money move to Bayern, there is no doubt that he will see a boost in FMH 2014. FMH 2014 As previously dicussed, Goetze will certainly see an upgrade to his already high PA in the upcoming installment of FMH. However, I would maintain that his PA may or may not change. Why? Well, this is because Goetze already has a very high PA value on this year's game and although he is still only 21, SI may choose to keep this value consistent for FMH 2014. However, if Goetze can maintain the form he displayed for Dortmund last season for Bayern this season, one can expect his PA to rise in FMH 2015 for certain. Here is my prediction of Goetze's key stats for FMH 2014: Yes, it does indeed make for some amazing reading. Armed with stats like those, there is no doubt Goetze will no longer be sitting in 10th position come next years list. After all, on IT those stats could explode into absolute machinate abilities. He certainly is one to watch out for on the next installment of the game. And that's it folks for update number one! Please do leave a comment if you read this as it gives me the inspiration to keep going. Also leave any advice/room for improvement/ideas you may have. Oh, and don't forget to predict who number 9 will be! *All stats are of club games only - no international stats included **All graphs and charts created by me using Online Chart Tool
