Like what the title says, I have managed to replicate Arsenal's feat of going an entire season unbeaten. In all my years of playing FMH/FMM, this is only my third or fourth time going an entire season unbeaten, which shows how difficult it actually is. I only lost to Tottenham in the Carabao Cup (on penalties) and Barcelona in the Champions League. Needless to say I did not reload any saves.

Here's my tactics. I have to say that the new tactical options are excellent and adds more depth into the game. It took me two seasons to figure out a decent winning tactic, though I kept making tweaks depending on which team I played against and which players I used. I cannot stress this enough. I also made quite a few changes either at half-time or at 70 minutes, especially if I am behind and had to chase games. Thankfully it all worked out.

This is my normal offensive tactic that I use for like 70-75% of the games. High defensive line and pressing coupled with the ability to get the ball to my attackers, which Arsenal thankfully has an abundance of.

 

I use this tactic for when I'm going up against big teams (Man City, Chelsea etc) or when I'm chasing a game. The goal is to stay defensive, soak up the pressure and make use of my speedy wingbacks (Bellerin and Kolasinac) to get the ball up to Giroud (who is an excellent TM) and my two IFs.

I was lucky in that I managed to get him to sign a new contract  right after I got a manager of the month award. He's so beastly that I threw him up front as a CF after Lacazette's form became erratic.

Was injured a fair bit in the second season but still did pretty well even though I played him out of position in centre midfield. His stats made up for it.

20 goals in 28 games is a very good return considering I mainly played him on the wings. 

I was pleasantly surprised by his performances here. I played him as a CB, RB and even in the DM and CM positions. Very adaptable and filled in multiple roles well.

And here is someone I was quite disappointed with:

His stats seem to have 'downgraded' a bit compared to last year. Very injury prone and erratic performances. In fact, all my central midfielders (Xhaka, Elneny, Coquelin) were pretty erratic, with none of them getting over a 7.1 average rating. I was rather disappointed with Lacazette as well; he started well but sort of faded in my second season.

His performances speak for themselves. Unfortunately he has decided to retire at the end of his contract this year. I will miss him (like in real life).

I didn't play him that much in my second season but he still contributed a fair bit and makes a decent backup striker.

Wonderkids:

The first thing I did was to sell off Walcott (next is Wilshere) and replaced him with this guy. Highly recommended.

And this guy is Wilshere's replacement. Managed to get him at a low price as he only joined at the end of the season. Has very promising stats with a nice spread of greens.

Other promising young players:

Wenger described him as 'something special'. He's looking pretty good here.

If this is how he is like after two seasons, I think my attack for the next 10 years or so is pretty much set.

Other than these two, Cohan Bramall and Takuma Asano both look at least decent and may develop into at the very least a squad player.

I had a lot of fun in this save so far. Won the league and the Europa league in the first season. I didn't spend too much money too! Berardi was my most expensive purchase with Jonathan Tah being the next at 17.5m. Next target is the champions league (Damn Barca). I hope this inspires you guys to try going an entire season unbeaten. I'll probably try it with another team (Southampton or Everton maybe?).
