After several injuries, moments of low morale, wasted matches against weaker teams and considering Depor had not the resources of other contenders... Finally

DEPOR RETURNS TO THE LIGA

They struggled in the last month to score and it was not possible to retain the first spot and for Mendes the "pichichi" title.

Mr Tamburo is it correct to say that you have been close to leave Depor at the beginning of the most important chapter?We can say that before starting this important chapter some discussions have been made with the board to see if we have the same idea of the club in this adventure. 

We assume you agreed a common vision at the end. What Depor will we see this season? I must admit, a quite different version with respect to the last season. We are new in this league and we will due respect to the giants clubs that usually play here. But we have some ideas to demonstrate we deserve to stay here. 

The club has gone to the market with this strategy: 1-raise money to improve the team 2-improve the quality and quantity of players

Fortunately with the sell of the star Diego Gomez promised for a long time to Barca (18 M) and some young prospects it was possible to go to the market. Also the captain Lapena preferred to go to Valladolid and Ze Carlos returned home to Portugal. 

They distributed the resources not getting stars but placing accurate captures 

All the defence was improved, some of the best performers of LaLiga 2 were chosen (good experience, well established in Spain, same nationality to improve the settling in the club) 

Upfront they bet on a young prospect with high ambition and impressive statistics

The first friendly matches have seen Depor adopting a 41221 formation in two different variants :
