So I'm not sure I understand scouting on this game yet. I'm new to this game and I am just starting my 4th season. I took Elversberg in the German Third Division from 18th in the first year, to 8th in the second, to 1st place and promotion into the second division in my third year. Now I'm about to start my season in the second division. I'm noticing that no matter where I send my scout he comes back to me with all German league players? I've sent him to UK/Ireland, to Southern Europe, Eastern Europe, Africa, and every time he comes back with X amount of suitable players, however when I view the results, its always just players from the German leagues? Does anyone else have/know about this problem? Am I missing a section that takes me to "All Results" or something? Any help anyone might have would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Scouting - The Clubs Of Ukraine: Hello and welcome to my mini series which will be me telling you about all the players available from Ukraine with England as the only loaded league. There are plenty of gifted players playing there trade in this County in Europe and Football Manager Handheld 2013 has made a lot more players available. On 2012 a lot of teams were visible on the database but most of these clubs were empty while 2013 has corrected this problem by lowering the visible teams to six and making a whopping forty-one players available. The teams featured in this series will be Arsenal Kyiv, Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk, Dynamo Kyiv, Metalist Kharkiv and Shakhtar Donetsk. The wake people reading this would have noticed there is only five teams listed there while I stated there was six visible teams, this is because metalurg Donetsk is empty. I'm unsure on how many post will complete this series since it'll all depend on the amount of time I have available but three teams will be covered today with the big guns Shakhtar and Dynamo being posted over the coming weeks. So let's crack on with part one shall we? Arsenal Kyiv: Players Available: 1 Only one player is available in our first stop of the journey so lets take a look at him: Maxim Shatskikh: Name: Maxim Shatskikh Age: 33 Nationality: Uzbek Position: Attacking Midfielder/Forward (R/C) Value: £950k wage: £3.6k p/w Enquiry Result: Not interested in selling as he's a key member of the side. Maxim is a player entering the twilight of his career but he does posses some interesting attributes. His mental stats are rather impressive as the Uzbek international has fantastic leadership skills and the ability to make the right decision at the right time. His attacking skills aren't that outstanding but please remember these screen shots are taken before intensive training so they could easily improve, in all seriousness I could see Maxim's stats growing a few points here and there which would make him an excellent mature striker if your team needed one. My Personal Rating: 2/5 – Not useless but will be rather costly, better options are available. Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk: Players Available: 3 Three players are available at Dnipro and in my honest opinion all three players are worth a closer look. Derek Boateng: Name: Derek Boateng Age: 29 Nationality: Ghanaian Position: Defensive Midfielder © Value: £1.7m wage: £2.4k p/w Enquiry Result: Not interested in selling at the moment. Derek looks a great player but once again it's a shame he's in the latter stages of his career. Attribute wise he has a few which really catch the eye as he has 17 positioning, stamina and teamwork which are all great attributes to have in a defensive midfield position. Couple this with his 15 passing and 16 strength he could be a real power house in your midfield while these stats as well as his few mediocre ones will only improve with some intensive training. My Personal Rating: 3/5 – A really impressive player who could do a job for a couple of seasons, it's just a shame his age is holding him back from making a massive impact. Rusian Rotan: Name: Rusian Rotan Age: 30 Nationality: Ukrainian Position: Midfielder © Value: £2.3m wage: £4.7k p/w Enquiry Result: Not interested in selling at the moment as he's a useful addition to the side. Rotan is the first Ukrainian our journey brings us across and he is another impressive specimen but once again he is on the wrong side of twenty-five in my opinion. His age maybe off putting but his stats speak for themselves as he has the protential to be an important member of your midfield. He has green stats in a few important areas including tackling, dribbling, passing, movement, leadership and teamwork while pocessing no red stats so in theory intensive training could boost the former Dynamo Kyiv man into a real force to be reckoned with. My Personal Rating: 3/5 – He has the potential to be a real star but his age could hold him back since he might not be able to reach the heights his stats are nearly at. If you have the cash and need an experienced midfielder he's more than worth a punt. Eugene Konoplyanka: Name: Eugene Konoplyanka Age: 22 Nationality: Ukrainian Position: Attacking Midfielder/Forward (R/C/L) Value: £3m wage: £6.75k p/w Enquiry Result: Not interested in selling at this time. The youngest player available at Dnipro is Konoplyanka and he looks the real deal, at only 22 years of age he has made 20 appearances for the full national side scoring 5 goals. Stat wise he looks on the brink of greatness as he already owns a few important green stats for his position like 17 dribbling, 16 pace and 16 passing. If these weren't enough intensive training will boost his blue stats enough to make him really stand out since he has a number of blue stats just below the cut off point like 14 technique and shooting. His price could be a problem for some buyers though since he starts off valued at three million pounds so I expect a bid in the region of around seven million would be needed to tempt Dnipro to sell there star player. My Personal Rating: 5/5 – He looks the real deal at a decent price and could develop into an outstanding inside forward. At only 22 years of age he is playing for the full international side with plenty of time left to develop into a world beater, certainly worth a look in my opinion. Metalist Kharkiv: Players Available: 1 Jose Sosa: Name: Jose Sosa Age: 27 Nationality: Argentinian Position: Attacking Midfielder (R/L/C) Value: £2.5m wage: £20k p/w Enquiry Result: Not interested in selling at the moment. A player many of you will be familiar with as he seemed a rather popular player in the 2012 game and he looks equally as impressive on this years game. The former Napoli man is an expensive player to sign with his huge wage demands somewhat problematic but he is a great player to have in your squad. Before intensive training he has some great attacking stats including 17 dribbling, passing and technique with many on the verge of reaching at least 15 like shooting, pace and creativity. My Personal Rating: 4/5 – If he is anything like last years version he is definitely worth a look but his wage demands and likely price tag could put you off. He is on the old side but this isn't necessarily a bad thing since he's already peaking or about to which could give you a massive boost in the attacking department.
