  1. Introduction: Hello, measly people of above, the great Devil from down under (not Australia), has had a new career idea and decided to share it with you. I will hopefully attempt this if I have the time but I can't promise you anything. The challenge: You can choose any club (but choose multiple leagues as well as the league your club is in). There is no particular goal in this challenge, just to do well and not get sacked. Play a season with your team with NO SIGNINGS OR SELLING ANYONE! This is very important. Then, at the end of the season, put all your players for transfer and demote them. You will then replace the team with players of the same positions and nationality as the previous players. The new players MUST be younger than the players you are replacing. be younger than the players you are replacing. EG: I take Man United, and at the end of the season I will replace De Gea with Sergio Rico. For RvP with Charlison Benschop. For Etc...etc... Every season you can sign 3 players who are still younger and have the same positions, but can be a different nationality. This is to prevent not being able to replace a Gambian or something in your team. EG: I replace Nani with Gareth Bale, ('cause I'm rich ) and Vidic with Ezequiel Garay. For For And you repeat this every season. Little details: If you don't end up with enough money to fill your team, and really can't go lower in the price, then you can use sugar daddy but only then. If a player retires, then just act as if he was in the reserves already and buy a replacement. If no one wants a player then just leave him in the reserves or if necessary then release him. So: I create a save with Man United, with Spain, France, England and Holland loaded. I play until the end of the season. Paul Scholes retires, so I continue as if nothing had happened and he was still in the reserves, signing his replacement. It's 3 days before the transfer window shuts, and I still haven't signed a replacement for Tom Cleverly. I just quickly sign a crappy 15 year old. A bit disappointed but he'll do. End of season 2, I demote all the players, sell them, sign their replacements etc...etc... The rules: 1. No use of changes.txt/the SE 2. No use of unlockables/cheats unless for the reason stated above 3. Screenshots needed as evidence, preferably a career posted 4. No signing players from the youth team Well... Comments are as always appreciated, but constructive criticism only please because this took me a while to do. And feel free to try it.
  2. São Paulo FC: A Devilish guide Introduction: Because of my 1kc, I felt I'd be able to make a decent enough guide. So I did a little research and here's what I came up with. A little bit of history... Before we get started, here's a bit of history copy and pasted from wikipedia... São Paulo Futebol Clube, simply known as São Paulo, is a professional football club, based in São Paulo, Brazil. Sao Paulo are one of the only five clubs to have never been relegated, along with Santos, Flamengo, Internacional and Cruzeiro. As for international titles, they are is the most successful team from Brazil, with 12 international titles. It is also one of the most successful South American clubs in terms of overall titles, having won 21 state titles, six Brasileirão titles, three Copa Libertadores titles, one Copa Sudamericana, one Supercopa Sudamericana, one Copa CONMEBOL (the precursor of the current Copa Sudamericana), two Recopa Sudamericanas, two Intercontinental Cups and one FIFA Club World Cup. São Paulo is Brazil's richest football club in terms of revenue, with an annual revenue of $111.9m (€78.2m), and the nation's most valuable club, worth over $353.4m (€246.9m) in 2011. General info: Full name: São Paulo Futebol Clube Manager: Muricy Ramalho League: Brazilian National First Divison Competitions: Brazilian Cup, São Paulo State, Copa Libertadores, Copa Sudamericana, South American Recopa, Club World Championship Transfer budget: £3.8m Wage budget: £385k per week Transfer budget when maxed: £12.25m Wage budget when maxed: £457k per week Board expectations: Continental qualification Squad size: 34, 4 on loan, and 3 out on loan The players: *Screenshots in spoilers are from about 3 seasons on IT. (apart from those who retired before) *Some players screenshots after IT are missing due to database problems Goalkeepers: Quite old but definitely worth keeping until he retires. Dênis: http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2276 A decent backup for Ceni and will do in the first team until you find a replacement when Ceni retires. Léo: http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2277 A 3rd goalkeeper who serves as a precaution in case both Ceni and Dênis get injured. Defenders: Can be sold for around 2m because SP have various DCs. Édson Silva: http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2280 Can also be sold for around 1.5 million again because of the number of DC's at Sao Paulo. Joao Filipe: http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2281 A decent backup for Lucio and Rhodolfo. Lucio: http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2282 A bit old but can still play and be the one of the main defenders for a few seasons. Rafael Toloi: http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2283 Will also make a decent backup and still improve at the age of 22. Rhodolfo: http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2284 The main defender who will stay that way for many seasons to come. Danilo: http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2285 Will do as a replacement for a while but could do with being replaced ASAP. Douglas: http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2286 The main right back. He does get a lot better as the screenie shows but it takes time so you might need a player to play until he does become that good. Cortez: http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2287 A good solid left-back who will be for a number of seasons whilst still improving. Juan: http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2289 Will do as a replacement until you find somebody else but retires quickly and is not very good. Henrique Miranda: http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2288 He doesn't improve much so sell him ASAP. Thiago Carleto: http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2290 Not very good and doesn't improve much so I'd suggest selling him ASAP. Midfielders: Becomes decent after a while on IT so it depends on your tactic. Casemiro: http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2292 A very good player who improves tremendously with IT so definitely keep him as either a DMC or an MC. Fabricio: http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2293 Although he's quite old he can still play so I would suggest keeping for him at least for 1 season. Rafinha: http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2294 It seriously depends on the number of DMC's in your tactic to whether you keep him or not. Zé Vitor: http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2296 Again it depends on your tactic although he does improve after a few seasons. Wellington: http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2295 Sao Paulo do not have many MCs so I would suggest keeping him until maybe a season after when you can get a decent replacement. Marcelo Cañete: http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2297 I would suggest keeping him because he is quite young and improves tremendously after IT. Ganso: http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2298 By far the best midfielder and still improves a lot. Jádson: http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2299 Although he is a bit old he should be kept because he improves and can still perform for a few seasons. Joao Schmidt: http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2300 Can probably be sold straight away because he doesn't improve much and Sao Paulo have enough MCs. Maicon: http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2301 He doesn't improve much so can either be kept as a reserve or be sold. Attackers: Doesn't look like much at first but I'm sure most people will know that he become world class in attributes and performance. Luis Fabiano: http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2303 Although he's quite old he can still perform so I would suggest keeping him as a replacement for about a season. Osvaldo: http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2304 By far the best forward (until Ademilson catches up ), his stats may decay over time but he is very good for at least a few seasons. Ronieli: http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2305 Doesn't improve much and is by far out-classed by the other forwards so can just be sold. Loan players: I would probably suggest recalling Casemiro and ending everyone's loans apart from Dênilson. A tactic: Here is a tactic that may not be world class but will suit all the best players. http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2266 http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2267 http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2265 http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2264 http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2263 Overview: Players to sell: Edson Silva Ronieli Juan Henrique Miranda Paulo Miranda Players to keep (for at least 1.5/2 seasons): Rogério Ceni Rhodolfo Douglas Jádson Ganso Ademilson Osvaldo Replacements: Juan - Sébastien Pocognoli, £4.8m http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2270 http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2268 Danilo - Guillaume Gillet, £1.1m http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2271 http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2269 Rogério Ceni (when he retires) - Pär Hansson, £800k (currently using him in my 1kc) http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2273 http://community.fmhvibe.co.uk/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=2272 Well... This took me a while to do and it's my first team guide so constructive criticism only please. If you want anything added then feel free to post and I will make a part 2 with whatever you want in. Credit to dirtboy for giving me inspiration for some of the parts of the guide by making his R-Madrid guide. He got inspiration from Keraviln's Bacelona guide so credit to him too. And credit also to ManagerAddict for providing me with half of the screenshots.
