Help Didn't qualify for Euro League even tho I got 7th.

Am playing with Bologna FC in Serie A. Just finished the 2018/2019 season in 7th place and somehow didn't manage to qualify for EL and Lazio (8th) did instead. I'm very confused as this has never happened to me before.

Did Lazio win the cup?

If it's anything like England then 7th only qualifies for Europe if the team that wins the cup has already qualified for Europe via the league.

If they did win the cup then they have got the last European place instead of 7th place in the league (you).
