Help Goalkeeper Distribution

Hey. 

I'm sure others are struggling with this. I have short passing, and short goalkeeper Distribution and I also play 3 CD one of which being a ball playing centre back. 

Yet every game without fail I watch about 4 highlights of my goalkeeper ignoring them and smashing it long to the middle of the park which inevitably leads to an attack from the opposition. 

Here he is going to take the goal kick, with 3 players crowded around him

Here is the opposition picking it up and coming straight back at me.

Anyone else solved this problem?

I've not got the best squad so hoping it will improve when I've got my choice of the best players
