Help How to expand the database

Hi, can anyone help me to expand the database? 

I joined my local team Lecce (Italian Serie B) , and I can only see players of Italian teams or main teams of the world. All the others appear in grey and are not real. I remember that it was possible to expand the db in the older FM on pc. Is it possible on FM22 mobile? Thank you very much for your support!

Sounds like you've chosen only the Italian league at the start. You can't "add" other countries to a saved game. 

But if you start another new game, you should be able to choose five (maximum) countries - so you can choose Italy, Germany, Spain, France and England and have all the proper players and competitions for those countries.
