Career Goytre United F.C- My Philosophy

CHOOSING THE CLUB

I chose Goytre United F.C at random from one of the Welsh Lower Leagues. They are a small club who have actually won Division one previously but were deemed not to hold the right infrastructure. This career gives me another chance to test my philosophy on FMM22.

STADIUM & FACILITIES

Goytre United F.C is only a small team. They hold poor 1st team & youth facilities. The stadium can only hold 4,000 supporters.

STAFF,FINANCES & TRAINING

Goytre United F.C. now has a full staff room of Coaches, Scouts & Pyshio's, although employed at a basic level. The Finances are OK but I did have to go over the budget to gain a squad that could compete. The training regime was delegated to my Assistant Manager.

SQUAD

The squad underwent a full overhaul with a brand new & improved squad assembled. The old players were all released from there contracts with immediate effect. Most players into the club cost nothing or very little money. Players were bought under the search of PACE/TEAMWORK & DECISIONS.

TACTIC

I used my attacking Tiki-Taka Tactic in this career. The system was incredible, finishing the season with the 4th best attack & best defence in the league. It also led us to win 25 of the 37 games available!

THE RESULT

The result of my 1st season in charge of Goytre United F.C was successful winning the JD Cymru South!🥳 We played beautiful football & were very consistent. We will need to improve for the premier league though!

UPDATE - YEAR 2023/24- CONQUERED WALES

2 Years have passed since I was appointed Manager of Goytre United. We won the Welsh League Cup in 2022 & finished 3rd in the Welsh Premier League. In 2023, We finally reached the top of Welsh Football by winning the JD Cymru Premier!🥳

I leave the club with a 61% win rate. I won Manager of the season in 2022 & have gone an unbelieveable 18 games without defeat with Goytre United FC. Most importantly though, I leave the club as Welsh Champions.
