CHOOSING THE CAREER

PSV Eindhoven are the club I have chosen to manage from Holland. The club is one of the 3x biggest in the Netherlands & has won the Eredevisie 24 times. At a time when Ajax is dominating Dutch football, can I change the tide.

STADIUM & FACILITIES

The clubs infrastructure is world class. The 1st team ,& youth facilities are both state of the art. The clubs impressive Philips Stadium holds 35,000 supporters.

STAFF, FINANCES & TRAINING

The training regime was delegated over to Assistant Manager Bas Roorda. The clubs finances are in a very healthy state. The staff room is full of high quality coaches,scouts & physios.

SQUAD

The funds for PSV Eindhoven are relatively modest for the size of club so spending needed to be wise. The players in, included two high quality players already on loan with us = Mvogo & Vinicius. The majority of the original players, including top quality over 30 players remained at the club to save costs.The players out were mostly young players who were not good enough for us & freed up a bit more money.

TACTIC

I used my Attacking Tiki Taka for this career. To be honest, the system was incredible & very consistent all season, only losing twice in the Eredivisie. We also went 18 games without defeat & had 7 consecutive wins!

THE RESULT

In a really surprising end to the season, PSV Eindhoven ended up with a famous Dutch Double of winning the Eredivise & the KNVB Beker!🥳🥳🏆🏆With a 70% win rate, the best defence & 2nd best attack, we really did have an unbelievable season. We got to the 2nd round of knockout games in the Europa league but lost heavily to Marseile(6-3 on aggregate)  which was a big dissapointment!
