Tactics Chelsea 4-1-2-2-1 EME-Macca's Galacticos Strikes Back

Like a lot of people when come out a new version of FMM the first thing i do is trying old tactics to see if are still effective or not. Looking on opponents tactics during my play i was impressed by strange disposition of players on the field and come in my mind an awersome FMM2014 tactic, unfortunatly useless in 2015 and 2016 editions.

Here it is

With the permission of Macca i show you my FMM2017 version of this 4-1-2-2-1 and for this time i choose Chelsea as my team.

 

I use 2 sets of instructions. The first against "lower" team and the second against Arsenal, Man Utd, Man City and so on

 

 

 

You may ask, why the CM in DMC position? Is not better a BWM or a DLP? Good point. If i use a BWM in that position i see him running on the ball keeper pressing on him (even if the pressing option is not selected) and VERY often he is followed by one of my CD for a double pressing coverage... result a big hole in the center of my defense... The same happens, in other ways, with a DLP.

But the CM is fantastic there. is a real shield for my 2 CD's and very usefull in attack supporting my players. Kantè or Matic are perfect with great defensive skills, but also positioning teamwork and passing.

In the first season i win Premier League and EPL Cup. As you can see below the preseason was difficult and i loose with Pescara... :), but the feedbacks and statistics even after loosing or drawing was very good!!! A few games and my team became a war machine.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So this is all. I hope this tactic works for you. Test it and give feedbacks. Me i will start soon another season to test it with lower teams like Atalanta in serie A.

Just changed my tactic to it 5 games in 3 wins 2draws at mo on my INTER save, wonder if it wud work with lower teams tho
