Chat FMM predicts Chinese clubs go bust?

News has been circulating in the last few days that 13 teams in the Chinese Super League could be kicked out of the league due to a failure to pay their players. Several big name players including Carlos Tevez and Oscar have threatened to leave after these allegations. Many critics have attributed this to a financial melt down in Chinese football, and football fans can perhaps now sigh in relief that China seemingly no longer poses a threat to their clubs.

I have noticed in FMM that after a season or two, many of the Chinese clubs start going bankrupt and top players request to leave. I was wondering if this was another situation like Brexit whereby SI have attempted to predict the future (and it would seem successfully), or if it's just a weird bug/coincidence.

What do you think? Have you encountered a similar scenario in game?

Comment with your observations.

Crazy what's happening over there with the money, wouldn't have anticipated it last year.

I often still see them buying players after Season 1, will keep a closer eye out though,

Yes I'd never really paid much attention to it, but just on my last 1 or 2 saves I've started noticing a trend.

Surely that sort of spending can't go on forever though, even if it takes legislation to stop it.

Chinese Super League clubs all go bust in FMM, and I just made up some financial meltdown narrative to make sense of it. Kinda suspected it would happen in real life as well, but certainly not this soon.
