Help Knocked out of UCL But shouldn't be

I just beat shaktar 4-0 and thought sweet we will have chelsea on goal difference everyday of the week. Found a message in the inbox saying we were knocked out of the UCL. Originally i thought they had just beat basil 8-0(which would have seen them have a higher gd) but this wasn't the case. 

Is this not the rules in UCL or is this just a bug

never mind I have just checked the UCL rules it is because I lost to chelsea
