Help Huge Contract Problem

So I'm on the 7th season of my Barcelona save, very healthy in finance ($600M excess transfer funds) and win almost all competitions in recent years.

However, starting from this season, I realize that many of my players refuse to sign a contract extension.😡

An example is Alisson Becker (33 age), my first choice keeper. He is very happy with his squad status, and has very high morale. However, he is asking for a wage of 750K per week. I don't even have the option to negotiate with him - it says I am not allowed to make the offer. This is quite ridiculous as the player seems really happy but yet I could not keep him.

Anyone else got this problem? Is this a bug or what?😔

Unfortunately I’m not sure there is anything that anyone can suggest as this has been a problem with for awhile now.

That’s really a shame  especially i have 725k max wage budget (just 25k lower), which is so close to the player’s demand, but yet I don’t even have the option to negotiate with the player  hope FMM is gonna fix this bug soon

Have you tried sending him out on loan then recalling him?
