Help Repeated News Items

I was wondering if anybody else had an issue with the news items repeating themselves. I sold a player to Rangers, or I thought I had in the January transfer window. It is now August and the player still hasn’t moved yet and I can’t offer him a new contact as it states that he has a future transfer arranged. Has anybody else experienced this bug or flaw?

I haven’t encountered this myself but I think I’ve seen it mentioned in the bug section. 

I think some have had success in getting the transfer through by going on holiday for a day or so so you could try that.
