Help A Training questuon

I know this may sound like a silly question but when you put a player to train in a certain position, is all the attributes that are highlighted in their player profile being trained?

Basically yes but It depends which option you choose here.

If you select Trained Role then yes that is the attributes being trained.

If you select Recommended Role then it is the attributes for the role the game recommends he plays. If he is training in that role then he is being trained in the highlighted attributes.
