Chat Lone striker tactics for 50+ goals a season?

So I'm trying to make/find a tactic that allows the lone striker to score alot of goals a season whilst still being strong defensively. I'm looking for something that would work for teams that aren't world class but would work against top tier teams. Any help/ideas?

Have a read in there mate, some good ideas by people and will give you an idea of what to go for👍

Yeah things haven’t moved on much tactically on the games, the instructions etc haven’t changed. I personally still think wingers with good crossing and a striker with very good aerial is the way to go.
