Why can't I offer the contract even if there are 6 months left until the end of your contract?

Are you at an English club too? English clubs can’t offer pre contracts to players at other English clubs until 1 or 2 months out. Not 6.

Looks like you’re in June actually? Maybe he’s already agreed to go somewhere. Check his contract page.

Se il giocatore è in prestito con clausola di acquisto, è necessario che il prestito termini prima di fare offerte esterne. Nel frattempo solo la squadra che lo possiede può rinnovare il contratto.

 

ENG: If the player is on loan and with a buyout clause, this should finish before to receive external offers. In the meantime only the team that owns the player can renew it.

Not 100% sure but thought in England there was a minimum age a player had to be to sign them on a Bosman ? Or there’s some fee involved ?

The team he's on loan too might have a buyout clause, if so you can't bid until they pass on him.
