I will be taking on one of the other leagues suggested therein, the Superliga in Denmark 

I don't know how to post images in the middle of this text using mobile, so you'll get an image dump at the bottom. 

Denmark currently sit in 19th. 

Aalborg, my chosen team, led by my Grandad are not in Europe, are already looking to ship me off & have no funds. On the plus side I've got good facilities

In addition, I'm doing Homegrown only, no non Danes allowed, if I can lead Denmark to glory at the same time

A major frustration is that Scouting has a bug. You cant Scout Scandinavia which is really annoying.

Grrr, just noticed. Tried scouting just Danish players, with silver scouts. I got 3 reports after 5 months, from 2 scouts combined

Mini update, as I now know how the league works. Play 2 games against other 11 teams, league then splits. Further 2 games against the other 5 teams. 32 games total

Go into these last 10, sitting 3rd. Tight in the back, crap up front. Looks like it's Europa League for me

And then it all just clicked, the team just went off. 

Me vs Midtjylland for the title on the final day. A week after we won the cup. 

A superb start, my top scorers however are Croatian & Norwegian respectively, they'll get sold at some point, but christ there's not a lot to replace with

Also, when I remember the actual challenge

Denmark went up one place in the rankings, but lost out as now only one spot in the Champs League. 

My "highly rated" only youth prospect

Cheeky double request to improve youth facilities worked. Bonus

Randers didn't make it past one round of the Conference League, losing to Lugano

Brondby went out one round later to Cluj. 

Both FCK & Midtjylland reached the Groups of the Europa League. Hard but not impossible to go through

A point it was. Got humped by Barcelona in both games, 1-0 loss to Roma in both, 1-0 loss to Leipzig away, fortunate draw at home

FCK & Midtjylland qualified though, which is great for the ranking

End of season 2, a smashing success. I played the younger players in the last few games, as I won the league with 6 games to go, they lost 2 more annoyingly.

Cup is once again mine, after a barnstorming final. 

Prica, my Croatian striker tore it up, he's got an £11m release clause so should allow me to buy a replacement at least

My one youth player is coming on amazingly

3rd season, all by myself. 

No other team made it into the Conference League. 

Scotland will move up as Rangers, Celtic are in the Champs League, Hearts in the Europa

Croatia & Switzerland both performed badly though, so potential for me to do ok, better group this time

We made it, drew at home with Marseille to secure qualification, where we'll get battered no doubt, by Porto

Celtic into Europa, Rangers out, Hearts out of Conference League

Young Boys out

Dinamo Zagreb & Hajduk Split doing well in the Conference League annoyingly

Won the league at a canter, went out of the cup annoyingly, what happens when you play the youth team against FCK

Got dumped out by Bayern, gave it a good go but ultimately fell short. 

Mildly pissed I'm still in 18th, although if anyone else helped, might have been different

Here's my youth intake after one season, all looking solid for the league. Bjerg is a monster, waiting on his contract until someone bids for him, so I can cancel the bid, see if I can up him every time an offer comes. He's in the DK squad for 2024

Oh I know, just frustrating after I did so well. Still closed the gap right up, FCK, Midtjylland & Brondby in the Conference League

I love that youth intake, what are the facilities like? I never get anywhere near as good as this even with maxed out facilities 😂😑

They're now Maxed out youth, just kept asking every 6 months. Oddly they let me

Small update, just on euro qualifying 

Firstly, my facilities

Secondly my run through the umpteen rounds of Champs League qualifying. In a group with Chelsea, Genk & Rennes, so hopeful of getting through, Europa at worst. 

Scotland, Switzerland & Croatia ahead of me in the rankings, so Celtic & Young Boys not qualifying helped. 

My compatriots got in on the act, dumping out Servette & Hibs. Brondby unlucky to match up with Liverpool. FCK & Midtjylland into the Groups

I am now a 100% Danish youth team, last man to go was Ivor Fossum, decent Norwegian midfielder, his contract ended this year, I let him get poached, then demoted him. The lads are superlative 

We put up a fight but ultimately came short against Milan in the Champs League, Fenger being top scorer was nice. FCK though, a cracker to win the Conference League.

And lastly, saving the best for last, a rocket up the rankings

Top 3 were homegrown this year. The rest I poached, Danish players I either can't afford or are a bit crap. Might as well take the good youth

Once again, a league & Cup double. Unbeaten this time

Made it through the Champs League group, runner up to Man Utd, lost to Inter on penalties. Bring back the away goals rule

FCK lost to Porto after getting out of the group. FCM got to the ECL semi

Which means DK rises once more & it may be time to move on

I poached a youth striker from Aalborg & took 3 more on loan. I knew it would happen but they sold my boys, 😭
