CHOOSING THE CAREER

I chose Philadelphia Union at random from the MLS League.They were founded in 2010, play in the Eastern Conference but have never won the MLS Cup. I am hopeful my philosophy can help change this. 

STADIUM & FACILITIES

The club's infrastructure is very strong. The clubs youth & 1st team facilities are great. The Stadium holds over 18,000 supporters & is normally packed out.

STAFF, FINANCE & TRAINING

The training regime was delegated to Richie Kyle. We have a good quality & full staffroom. Our finances are secure despite many sifnings to improve the squad.

SQUAD

I overhauled the Philadelphia Union squad with players in & out. The players in followed my KEY atributes of PACE,TEAMWORK & DECISIONS & improved on the players we already had . The players who were not good enough, were released from the club to free-up funds.

TACTIC

I used my Attacking Tiki Taka Tactic for this career. We started this career really strongly winning many games in a row but did let ourselves down towards the end the season. That said, 71 goals scored & only 38 goals let in is a great return.

THE RESULTS

My 1st season with Philadelphia Union & we did win the MLS CUP 🥳🥳🥳, Despite almost falling apart at the end of the season. We were mostly losing or drawing at the end of the season comming 2nd in the Eastern Conference & getting through due to our good early season start. That said, our 68% win percentage & roughly 2x goals scored per match indicates how good we were at the start of the season.
