Just finished my 2nd season, winning the league with 6 games to go:

Final league table:

Scored 4 less goals than the 1st season, but scored more points.

We also won the Champions League:

This has been my usual starting 11 for League and Champions League games:

I've a decent budget to strengthen - any suggestions?

Rashford has performed well and is showing as 'Word Class' but my gut feeling is to get a more clinical goalscorer and perhaps a RB or LB which are more established.

Got to be a better RB you can get than Williams?! How is Sancho performing? Might be worth looking for a left footer?

Now doing the normal corner routine of mark keeper and aim at penalty spot. Since I got De Ligt, he's scored about 60 goals across 2 seasons. I still can't believe Mings got zero across season 1 using that routine.

Just finished season 5, won everything again and Bailey was on fire this year.

I managed to get Cancelo and Kane in, both on p/x, along with some youth prospects my scouts have found. Also got Bellingham arriving in January.

Sancho does well in the IF role;

You'd have to change the DLF & P around, and also the BDP and CD, essentially mirroring every aspect of the tactic.

I have been playing with the IF on the left for the start and I havent made these changes. I've been wondering why the tactic hasn't been as effective. I will make these changes and see what difference it makes. Thanks

How do you deal with rotating your squad when it comes to your squad, fixtures and competitions you are in? For example, do you always play your strongest 11 for prem and champions league?

Yep, exactly that. Then a 2nd team for the domestic cups. For ease, I save the selections for both so I can load up the cup team at a click of a button.

When you do this and you are no longer in cup comps, dont you find that players become unhappy because of not playing?

Yes, but you kind of just have to let them be unhappy. Also, as the season gets later, you’ll find even if you’re out of the cups that you’re first team regulars will get tired anyway which means good rotation chances. I never normally start anyone on below 92% fitness.

What about players who have 92% condition but are slightly tired?

Depends on the importance of the match. If you are playing someone lower in the league then I’d rotate, but playing a challenger I’d play them.

I've just finished my second season with this tactic. I managed to get Federico Cheisa on a free as well!!

I won the prem on the final day of the season on goal difference.

this is my regular team and the player and team stats as well

Odsonne Eduard ended up as top scorer in the league which was nice

the other thing I realised was that the BPD would step out of position when we had the ball and that would be a gap that the opposition forwards would exploit over again. So I changed the tactic to two DC's and I stopped leaking stupid goals. On to season 3 and ill let you know how it goes. Its a great tactic though.

i must say this is a great fun tactic to play with! 

Didn’t go with any top 6 teams as o wanted to test it out with a mid table team. 

West Ham looked like a decent team to me and they have an interesting mix of players.

  How about your set piece , I try mark keeper and aim at penalty spot isn't working , and what inswinging taker is ? Sorry I was new here so I don't really understand

That's exactly what I do, mark keeper, penalty spot, inswinger. For some reason it didn't work on my first season with Villa, mings was my 'aerial threat' and got no goals. I managed to get De Ligt after a couple of years on a free and he got 28 goals in his first season, 32 in his second. Just started a new save with Pisa (Italy) and it's working with a centre back that's only 13 for aerial. He averaging about 1 goal every 3 games.

Ok , I Try it with villarreal just 24 games , the only change was changing the mentality from attacking to overload since it hard to score, make 1 big signing and belotti and chiesa for next season on free , thanks pal

Both the strikers on near post - either of Antonio or Immobile would score

Season 3 update. I won prem, fa cup, league Cup and champions league!!!

This is my main 11 that I used

it's been a really successful season. I'm going to see if I can do it again next season. Onto season 4
