I dont get annoyed much with this game..honest..but this winds me up..

Many times this happens because the other players aren't actually playing any/many other matches. Like in the CL for example, playing against teams from Switzerland, Ukraine, or other leagues you don't have loaded, they won't actually have any stats recorded for league matches, and will only play those European matches, so most goals will be the first one of the season. 

It absolutely winds me up as well, that being said.
