So after getting and name a new stadium, in UCL it still showed that we were playing in our old one( San Siro which has only 90,000 max ca

While our new stadium has 100,000 capacity.

Is this a known bug or glitch?

I had that too when I took Stockport into the Champions League (it did take me a while...)

I took it to be a naming glitch as like you, I got crowds that would only fit in my new stadium
