Advanced Playmaker vs Roaming Playmaker

In FM23 Mobile, the Advanced Playmaker and Roaming Playmaker are two player roles that excel in playmaking, but with distinct styles. An Advanced Playmaker operates in a more central, advanced position, orchestrating attacks by dictating the play, making incisive passes, and providing creative solutions in the final third. Their main focus is to unlock defenses and create scoring opportunities for their teammates. On the other hand, a Roaming Playmaker tends to have more freedom of movement, often drifting across the midfield and exploiting spaces between the lines. They have the ability to contribute both offensively and defensively, acting as a catalyst for transitional play and initiating attacks from deeper positions. The choice between the two largely depends on tactical preferences, the team's style of play, and the player's individual attributes.

What are some great roaming playmakers you guys came across?

Great roaming players in my book are the likes of Thiago alcantara, Szoboslai, Mikel Merino, Lobotka, a fully converted Pedro Goncalves, Gundogan, Gavi, Elmas, Veloso 17yr old wonderkid,Doure 16 Yr old wonderkid at Rennes, etc

 

Merino, Lobotka, Gundogan, are excellent CMs but can RP very well too, Elmas is a very versatile player

I bought Szoboslai (RP) and partnered him with Rice (BBM). Proved to be lethal. Won the premier league with Everton but lost the champions league final to Manchester City
