Tactics Help improving this 41221 (defensive 433) tactic

I've had a rather good league start so far, but my star wonderkid (Tonali) is struggling as DLP (Reccomended Role) and i've tried multiple tactics to see him play well and improvvisamente, but one worked.

How should i change this tactic (roles, shape, def, att) so that he can reach his potential?

 

I've also tried a run with AC Milan and also failed in that one.

Best way to improve this tactic is remove your defensive midfielder they do not work in the game anymore

His recommended is DLP, so i could play with a 4231, Tonali on the right as DLP and someone as trequartista if that would work

Change it to BWM! works for me. Also BBM to AP go attacking try sign players suitable for roles?

could just retrain him to cm then move the dlp forward 1

Change your CF to AF or Poacher. Your CM to AP, your DLP to BWM. Unclick that work in the box, go for counter/narrow/fast.

One thing, you are Running at defense with DLP? DLP is through balls specialist. If you want to retain him as DLP, go for Poacher, fast game, counter, unclick that work into the box and look for overlap.
