Chat Squad Roles

Not really sure how to say what I want but I’ll try and put it together.

the squad role you give players is indicated next to a green thumbs up or orange thumbs down. Now I have no evidence to support this but I have found recently and on last years version if a player is first team or a key player and they are green they seem to play a lot better than when it is orange.

has anyone else noticed this, or have any ideas how I could potentially test this out?

I think it's one of those things we can never tell for sure. I don't think even IGE can test this out, probably one of the things we'll just have to assume makes a difference. Much like the role traits.

I do always try giving new players the squad status they deserve, and if they refuse I'll find someone else who will. I'm buying solutions, not problems.

It would make sense that the thumbs indicator is linked to happiness and that would have an effect on their form.  I never give anyone a contract above rotation status.. unless I absolutely have to. It makes squad management so much easier

Yep same, I don't tend to manage at the top top level anyway, but I still try and give everyone Rotation status even there, unless it's a player i love and he's gonna walk otherwise...
