SISTEMA WM CHAPMAN

La disposizione in campo risultava così in una sorta di 3-2-2-3, che all'epoca era esposta con la scritta WM, dove le tre punte superiori della W rappresentavano i tre attaccanti, le punte inferiori i centrocampisti, come così come i vertici superiori della M rappresentavano i mediani mentre quelli inferiori i difensori. Questo modulo, noto anche come Chapman System, offriva alle squadre con un tasso tecnico più elevato la possibilità di gestire al meglio il possesso palla, poiché nella cerniera di centrocampo i centrocampisti ricoprivano il ruolo di suggeritori, non più rifinitori, supportati da mediani di lavoro che recuperavano palloni dietro loro e li ha serviti.Per la prima volta una squadra scendeva in campo con l'idea di segnare attraverso la costruzione del gioco, con tiri bassi e sfruttando il tempismo negli inserimenti,

 

 

➡️AGGIORNAMENTO PER LA RILASCIO 14.1.0⬅️

Amici allenatori, dopo l'aggiornamento ufficiale, ho notato alcuni cambiamenti che sbilanciano le mie tattiche. Il ruolo dei trequartisti è ormai troppo sbilanciato e si pestano i piedi con gli attaccanti. Ho apportato le seguenti modifiche alle istruzioni di posizione per dare al modulo WM la corretta forma quadrata a centrocampo.

Note:

I assigned playmaker roles to the two midfielders as they are already very far back and actively participate in the offensive game in the ball possession phase.

We find a T and an SS to differentiate the two roles. In fm if two offensive roles have the same instructions unfortunately they tend to step on each other's feet.

IWB do a defensive job always maintaining a great position. They participate in the ball possession phase in the offensive maneuver but without ever losing their balance.

IF: they are fundamental in giving depth to the offensive game, and at the same time they become real strikers by moving in the centre.

Thank you man, we always have to find the right compromise. Real football and simulation football often do not coincide in some things but in the end being able to unite the world of realism and the world of the game is always a stimulating challenge.

Looks interesting..  I am trying another tactic right now but this looks good to try with Leeds.. will give it a try soon and let you know..

An update has been released today.

Does this tactic still work?

I love the shape, so started a career challenge (relegation challenge) as Man Utd yesterday, pre-update, it worked very very well straight away. Back on to it this evening and after a handful of games it looks far less effective.

Adoro la forma, quindi ieri ho iniziato una sfida di carriera (sfida retrocessione) come Man Utd, pre-aggiornamento, ha funzionato molto bene subito. Ci riprovo questa sera e dopo una manciata di giochi sembra molto meno efficace.

Now I open football manager and do tests but I don't think there are any changes.

Mike, I'm doing some career matches now, the tactic is working well, maybe even better after update. I see better forward movement from the players. I notice substantial changes also on corners where I see new movements and more defensive attention.

What stats do you recommend for the IF’s and AF?

Quali statistiche consigli per IF e AF?

IF: they have a very advanced position in the field, therefore you don't need a lot of speed, they are already positioned ahead, they don't have to cover much space in speed. They must have a good stat in passing and shooting. If they use reverse foot it would be the top. AF: a striker on the move, he must be able to make short moves to the right and left to create space for the two advancing midfielders. Shot and movement are important values.

UPDATE FOR RELEASE 14.1.0 Manager friends, After the official update, I've noticed some changes that unbalance my tactics. The role of the attacking midfielders is now too unbalanced and they step on each other's toes with the forwards. I made the following changes in the position instructions to give the WM module the correct square shape in midfield.

Yes Mike, always, I want to impose my tactics for better or for worse. I do turnover of tired players.

I don't like having the remorse of "if". I prefer to be fundamentalist on tactics. But at the same time, if I see one of my top players not performing, without remorse I'll put him on the bench and let a young player play. Better a young player who makes 100% rather than a top player who makes 50%.
