Pretty Disappointing total from Romero, Need a big improvement next year, Average rating's promising though.

Gabriel Barbosa (The Beast)

I cannot praise this lad enough, he carried the team single handedly for majority of the year and surpassed 100 goals first year round. More of the same next season hopefully!!

Yeah I was going to but I've got two kids so was rushing it a bit, was thinking about limiting what I post i.e SPS table, first division table, cup final, player profile, goals. What you think?

Mini SPSC Update.

Final Standings.

Much of the same with the league table, only conceded 5 over the 19 games!

Quarter Final.

Easy fixture as we romp past Sao Caetano with good old Gabby stealing the show with a 21 minute hat-trick!

Semi Final.

Much harder draw this time round but again, we manage to stick 4 past a strong Palmeiras squad.

First Leg -

More of the same with Gabby once again showing why he's the number 1 for goals, hopefully the 3 away goals stand us in good stead aswell ?

Second Leg -

We were too much for Corinthians at home, Sergio Diaz sat every knockout game on the injury table, picking up a 1 month injury in the last game in the league stage so Leandro Damiao started this game and also started the scoring!

Couple of stats.

Solid as a rock at the back throughout the whole competition!

The one downfall of an otherwise flawless campaign, 37 goals down is a massive amount shorter than last year!

The next update should be out within the next 2/3 days ?

p.s. How are the spoilers, have they worked alright? I'll fix my first update when I can get on the pc hopefully.

Second season update.

So it's here finally, at the start of the season i requested a training facility upgrade which as you'll see was duly granted

Only 3 permanent outgoings this season, and if i'm honest, none of them will be missed anytime soon. Plenty of players loaned out for development, as you do.

I recognized early on that i needed reinforcements in defence, quite happy with how the squads turning out now!

Copa Libertadores

We managed to win it at the earliest opportunity but to be honest it was expected, nevertheless another trophy down!

Breezed through the group stages, we never looked like slipping up!

A 1-1 draw away from home in Mexico meant that we had the upper hand back at home for the return leg.

I'd love to know how this game ended 2-2?!

We absolutely annihilated Sao Paulo at home with 2 of the 3 strikers securing the win for us, albeit Maxi was unlucky with the 3rd minute disallowed goal!

There was only 1 winner here!

First Division

More of the same!!

Finished on exactly the same points total as last year, as did 2nd place, although it was a different team this time round!

We had 8 players in the top 9 AvR! 

Barbosa the deadliest marksman once again!

Also the most creative force in the squad and division! This guy is too good 

Club World Championship

Still cant believe we won this at the first time of asking!

A tough fought game in which Gabi decided we were to progress over LA Galaxy!

The lads worked their magic once again to overcome PSG, in the end they were extremely unlucky to have to go to extra time after dominating for majority of the game, Maia made sure we would be taking the cup back home to Brazil!

No Diaz is class, yeah Gabi did disappoint a bit, I'm sure that's only because he set such high standards last year though lol

Considering we beat them at their ground 4-0 in the first leg, i was shocked at how this leg panned out, nevertheless another trophy to add to the cabinet!

A nice first half hat trick cemented our place in the quarters after an unexpected 2-1 loss in the first leg!

Quarter Final.

A 2-0 home win was enough to see us through on this occasion, although we probably did deserve a better result tbh.

2-0 down in 8 minutes had me worried until the young Paraguayan started the first half comeback! Onto the final we go.

We missed out this year due to Atl Mineiro being a lot more clinical than ourselves! (Super keeper didnt help mind you!)

Unfortunately we were beaten at their ground in the first leg by the same scoreline, as you can see our squad clearly needs penalty practise, although if it wasnt for Thiago Ribeiro's 'alleged' offside goal in the first half, Barbosa and Romero both on INT duty, i believe the outcome would have been very different!

First Division.

13 points clear in the end, so a good league campaign, up on goals once again also, surely that bodes well for the men in question

Lucas Lima sure can pick a killer pass!

Quite a poor season trophy wise but this challenge isn't about trophies luckily lol
