Tactics Greatest Teams - Leicester City Title Winning tactic 2015

Good Evening All,

I recieved a challenge on my previous post to create the Leicester City Title Winning tactic. Leicester City pulled off "one of the greatest sporting stories of all time" by winning the title, a 5000-1 bet before the 2015 season. This counter attacking tactic meant that Leicester were the best team in the league defensively but also a powerful force in attack.

The images below show the set up of the 2015 Leicester City squad. The squad set-up was the following:

  • GK=SCHMEICHEL
  • FB=FUCHS
  • FB=SIMPSON
  • NCB=HUTH
  • NCB=MORGAN
  • DW=ALBRIGHTON
  • BWN=KANTE
  • AP=DRINKWATER
  • IF=MAHREZ
  • AP=OKAZAKI
  • P=VARDY

Very kind words.

I have tested this tactic out more and appears it really needs a squad that fits the system and is not a one tactic fits all system.

I have tried various adjustments but my tactic stays true to the REAL Leicester City 2015 system and works wonders with the right squad.
