Help Badge Progression - Preferred Formation

Hi all,

I didn't purchase the Gold Coaching badge and decided to play for it, and ended up receiving the Bronze qualification. No matter what style I select (Attacking, Youth, General, etc.), my preferred formation shows up as 4-4-2. Which is wrong. This is bugging the hell out of me, because I get annoyed by these little things. Does anyone know how to change this preferred formation to a 4231, 41221, etc.? Or am I stuck being a 1990's English manager in charge of Stoke.

You can save your tactics. Go to your tactics page and there should be a button that says "action" at the bottom. Click on it and you can save it.

Not sure it’ll ever been fixed and I never really care about this stuff

I'm not talking about game tactics, I'm talking about the preferred formation that shows up when you look at your own coaching profile.

just seen, at the start of my third year, having never used 4-4-2, it still shows 4-4-2 for me. will try and keep an eye out for it changing.

Played 6 years and no changes
