Chat Resigned to not play?

This may be a stupid question but what does it mean when a player is resigned to not playing in match. Especially when I haven’t even picked the squad I always do this on the day of the game. Does this have a negative effect in game if you play a player who is resigned to not play?

It’ll mean they’re not expecting to play in the match, but nothing will come of playing them. Morale affecting performances is one of FMM’s greatest myths.

Morale does seem to hit attributes in this version I think. Davis for me was upset and he got lots of red arrows by his attributes. Maybe he wasn’t training as hard or something but it definitely hit his stats.

Do you know that drop was directly linked to morale though?

It’s when they have frustration of not being in the squad for a few games. It doesn’t seem to be a long term thing, only for certain games for certain players that have been left out. The player is on his period, basically 😆
