Hi all I'm attempting the "it's a long way to the top" challenge set by @Scratch and @Foxy

Obviously started the season as an hopeful unemployed manager only putting in for anything however I didn't take my first or second offer and landed the gig at Crawley in L2, with more loaned players than club I sorted the wage bill and signed some freebies along with Ruel from Leyton Orient for 50k arriving next window.

Completed the last part of the season instructed to avoid relegation managing to finish 11th with the heavier hitter getting promoted.

Unhappy the board are ignoring my requests due to inexperience even tho I'm voicing my player's concerns.

Next season with more time we're looking to reach the playoffs and bag that promotion spot.

I know it's mad as I was only applying for Conference National or above, I showed them my FC United/Kettering saves 😉😂

I got offers from two VNN teams without applying.

Second season is going well apart from being stone walled in the Caraboa Cup drawing Chelsea first draw.

Season 2

I bagged it!

Tranmere stuck to me all the way through, condolences to Torquay managing to get 16 points with 110 goals against.

Competition wise was a flop lost on goals in the leasing.com group, Caraboa Cup first draw lost 5-1 to Chelsea and 3rd Round in the FA cup I battled well against Everton losing 3-1.

Team Information

Not too sure what to expect next season hopefully mid table, need some major upgrade however the board says I'm too inexperienced to make requests and we are broke.

Season 3

Good start achieving the higher mid table just before Christmas then steam rolled to the top towards the end, Abit too well in my opinion as I didn't want to get promoted so soon

Manager Reputation

Managed to win the leasing Cup with the only challenge being Chelsea Reserves and a few pesky L2 teams.

Sold Ruel for a tidy 4 million and with the scraps I got back from the board I stashed it into the wages for some nice freebies.

Like I said I wanted another Season before moving up to the Championship as it's a different level up there taking 4 season to scrap through on a previous save.

Fingers Crossed I don't sink back down 😂

Like I said I've been quite at work with no signal (I work at a covid testing facility lol)

Last season I'm doing sadly ending this career early not seems you need to win the Champions League 😂 in order get the tittle and just lossing out puts me off.

Apologies for the lack of write up I wasn't feeling.

I'm already thinking of my next career doing a only buying under 18s of the same domestic nationality - not sure if you use the fake names/players to make it harder.
