Help Viewing a player's coaching profile

Hi, does anyone know how you can consistently get to a player's coaching profile? I'm playing FMM21 but also found on FMM20 that sometimes you can choose which you look at but mostly that you can't pick... It seems to be on how you get to it but I don't get it! I mean for players who aren't already on yout coaching staff by the way. Thanks!

I think only when the player retires.
