CHOOSING THE CLUB

The club I have chosen to manage from Italy is A.C. Milan. The club, founded in 1899 is the third most successful club in Italy. My only aim here was to get the club back to the top of Italian football.

STADIUM & FACILITIES

The infrastructure of A.C. Milan is Superb. The 1st team & youth facilities are State of the art. The stadium, the San Siro, holds over 75,000 supporters.

STAFF, FINANCES & TRAINING

Training was delegated to Assistant Manager Giacomo Murelli. The staff room is full & World Class in every area. The finances are in a very health state.

SQUAD

The A.C. Milan squad was one of the hardest for me to analyse because of the age of the squad & the fact that many players are very good without being great  In the end, due to the budget, I tried to encorporate the best area's of the original squad combined with some World Class Signings. A lot of players were released, including Ibrahimovic due to not being good enough for us to produce a real title fight.

TACTICS

I used my attacking Tiki Taka tactic. It was once again defensively solid with 16 goals conceeded & 25 clean sheets. On the flip side, we did go 19 games without defeat.

THE RESULT

Our mission was accomplished on the last day of the season & A.C. Milan are once again, Italian Champions! 🏆🥳 We were 1st for most of the season, having a brillant start which faultered in periods. Our disapointment this season comes from our performances in the UEFA champions League & the Coppa Italia.
