Career Proof that big money is not needed

So, what I’ve just said up there could cause a lot of debate, but hear me out. 
I’ve been doing a save with F.C Andorra, did very well and have moved here to Stockport county. The first thing I always do is send some scouts out to pick up cheap talents. 
Now I am going to show you some examples……

Relativley good CD, bought for just 750k

Bought this guy after I left Andorra on a free, amazing LWB.

Most expensive guy here, my backup striker and he is very solid.

Probably my favourite ever signing, I’ve just realised I didn’t show it there but I bought him for £1000 of non league Gainsborough. Brilliant player.

Pretty sure this guy is a Kane regen, came through my youth, what a player he is!

Came through my youth, very good WB that can play on both sides!

Africa always has good regens, but I’ve never managed to get them to the prem, this guy is brilliant and an incredibly solid backup.

Great AP, bought for only £5000!

When I have finished this season, I’m going to post the tactic I’ve been using with these players. Let me know what you think about these gems aswell!

I agree that money isn't as realistically important. I have 600M+ with all wages under 150k which is also too high but hey u can keep endrick till 2038

When it gets to that stage, you can buy anyone, but if a cheap wonderkid comes along, it’s hard to say no!

1. Up your youth facilities as high as possible with your budget, for scouting, I have youth scouts looking for 16-20 year olds with ‘hot prospect’ squad status

2. Loan them, get plenty of affiliates

Scouting, I'd recommend one youth scout with only age 16-20 filter and another one in South America, you'll find wonderkids cheap.

Mentoring will help immensely in developing traits, personality and some key stats. Game time is crucial for development as lack of games can stunt the growth so either play them even as subs or loan them to teams which aren't very bad but can also guarantee game time. Look out for injuries too in medical centre.

I don't want to stand on anyone's toes, but you are simply finding Regen's, your Youth Scout even sent out to WORLD search will come back with every type of Regen they can find, for example most will find GK galore, you will have so many to choose from, because you are in the Year 2033, so all the players around 30+ are now being spit back out as Regen's, there isn't many like that and as cheap as that 2022/23, they are all SOOOOO expensive even your Stockport with more money than Newcastle will have to dig deep to get the Super Youngsters.

I love to build my team with a bunch of youth player in it since day 1. But i got struggling to make their development going fast. 

Do you have any special mentoring trick? I read from another thread, when the mentoring program report appears, you can cancel the mentoring program and set it up again. Will it work?

So you can use a bargain scout to look for good youngsters, or a youth Scout and simply click a country to search and select 16-20, you will get in dated with free future 5 stars, but remember that is 5 stars in your team and your league, if for example you get them in lower League, by time you get to the top league their rating may drop considerably.

For mentoring, I find if you select the right box first and select the youth player, it will automatically show you who could be suitable to mentor with in order, you then look at the trait that player can offer, or select your own, I put a striker with a CD to learn aerial for example, it says not to, but it doesn't cause too much harm and eventually if it doesn't work they will end it on their own. The worst I find is their morale goes down for a little while! 

Playing youth, you can over play them, but just read the mood of player, if they are under 90% don't play them, if they tell you they are slight tired, I give them 1 half and then sub them, others on here will tell you different maybe, but that's just what I do, plus at times selecting the right coach to do the training can speed up stats of your players, a defence coach can build up Ariel, positioning, strength for example

Oh I see. I found that Warren Zaire-Emery and Charlie Patino were dropped their PA under my team. They had 4-5 stars at the time i scouted them, but in winter break they have only 3 stars potential ability.  So is it because they are from lower league?

It can be, but also remember if you don't play them they can drop also, but then once they get game time there ratings can shoot up also. I find I keep 2 youth players with high ratings when scouted in my first team and play them every 2 or 3 games as a sub, I find this brings them on quicker than loaning them all out to teams that don't have the facilities to enhance them as much.
