Season 8 Upadate

VAR is a bloody joke in this version of FM.

8 years in and haven't had one decision go my way.

Season 8

Different club, same result.

What a team Chelsea are.

Outstanding at the back.

Brought in a couple of my old favourites from Spurs on the right wing, and Wolves, up top.

Did the business for us.

Both 5 star potential. Never going to be able to afford them now as we move onto Nottingham Forest for Season #9.

Can we keep it up and go 7 from 9, I highly doubt it as I think they will require a complete rebuild.

Season 9

Slow and steady progress for Forest this year.

Main focus was redeveloping the team, which I am pretty happy with now.

Snuck in a comprehensive beat down of Arsenal in the league Cup too.

Speaking of which, they are on an almighty downfall, joining Newcastle as the first of the "big" teams to go down.

Hopefully push for the title in Season 10 but I've created a monster with Chelsea who go back to back and win the Champions league.

Another domestic title to add to the list.

That's now:

Manchester City

Aston villa 

Brighton

Wolves

Tottenham 

Chelsea

Nottingham Forest

 

Not Too shabby for 10 seasons.

Couldn't complete the quadruple as City actually pumped us in the final of the FA cup.

 

Got this kid on a bargain deal from Everton, he is going to do great things. Hopefully can take him with me wherever I go now.

Currently no jobs on the table so we might be sitting tight at Forest for a while yet.

Not completely against this as it is probably one of the best teams I've developed so far.

Signed about 6 5star potential wonderkids, would be nice to see what happens with them but doubt I'll be around long enough to find out.

Basically have 2 teams saved, 1 for league, 1 for cups & Europe, load them depending which competition we are playing in.

Season 11 Update

Got fired for showing interest in the West Brom job. 

Man city was available at the time also. Lucky for me the Liverpool manager took it opening the doors for me to take over at Anfield.

Might be the fasted season yet

Add Liverpool to the list.

Easiest one so far.

Had a great team so didn't have to do much tinkering.

Not much else to report.

No other jobs available. 

Ipswich was in danger but wanted to stay to win Europa but once I won it it was no longer under threat.

Hopefully something else turns up soon.

Season 12 Preview

On the move again. 

This might be a tricky one.

Only job that's come up for a team I've not already managed.

Got sacked again for showing interest.

Luckily job came up after a week or two.

Season 12

No title this season but positive signs considering where we started.

Trimmed the squad and added some new young potential superstars.

Hopefully be more competitive is season 13 but would be majorly surprised is we land a title this early.

Massive win against boro was the turning point in the season. 

Had a fairly easy run in with the exception of City away which we somehow managed to win

Season 13

Ended up being a bit unlucky.

Missed out on champs league spots on last day of the season.

Good progress from the youngsters.

Particularly looking forward to how my 17 year old Italian/Ghanaian develops.

Looking to revamp the front line in preseason. Boys up top just not doing enough business for us.

Challenege for the top spot is the big aim for season 14.

Arsenal got relegated again. Becoming quite the yoyo club.

Season 14 and still no var decision to overturn a goal. Must have at least 1 or 2 in every other game

Should give me the funds to land this goal monster I have on loan from city.

And we're on the move again.

Time to resurrect another fallen giant.

Not quite as bad as arsenal who stay in the championship but it is the time of Manchester United.

Hopefully another quick turn around.

Sad to leave Brentford, have built a banging team over the last 2 seasons, be interesting to see what happens with them.

Top guys seems the right age. He retired at the end of 2035/36 season at 34 or 35 in my save. Any second nationalities?

Season 15

10 titles in the bag now!!

Really struggling to find good teams to manage now

Couple of potential haaland regens doing the business for me up top and we smash the competition, in the league at least.

No Europe always makes it a littl3 bit easier.

Disappointed not to add at least one cup, just didn't have the quality and depth for a good run.

Anyways, we move on. Step up to the plate Huddersfield Town

Season 16 preview

The worst thing about this challenege is the players you bring up and then have to leave behind.

 

Got these 4 French lads, all the scorers, with the exception of Goretzka. 

 

Don't want to even imagine how good a team I'd have by now if I just stayed with the one club.

This is probably the longest I've played in this version, pretty much every youth player that comes through turns out unbelievable!!

Season 16

Wow what a turn around. Pretty much changed my front 6, need to focus on investing on the back 5 and we should be very competitive then.

If we didn't have such a poor start to the season we'd have definitely been in with a shout. 

Turn a few of those draws into wins and we should have another league title in the bag
