Challenges Premier League Challenge - Complete, 16 different 🏆

So far in its existence only 7 different teams have won the English Premiership:

Arsenal

Man City

Man Utd

Chelsea

Blackburn

Leicester 

Liverpool

 

The challenge here is to win the Premiership with as many teams as possible over the span of your career.

Can you beat 7 over 30 seasons?

 

I'd say 10 is probably the max you could hope to achieve.

 

Starting off I shall be taking the easy route and playing with Man City.

Surely this will be an easy one and tick of a team in the 1st season.

1st team completed.

Easy win with an outstanding team.

 

Burnley job is available going into Season 2.

 

Going to apply for it and hope something else comes up before.

Be a bit of a grind to win it with them this early into a save

Season 2

We go 2 from 2 with a comprehensive league win with the mighty Villa.

So close to back to back trebles but wasnt to be as old club City come back to haunt us in the injury time of extra time.

Hero from the Europa final Martinez couldn't be our saviour again as he only managed to save 1 pen in thr shootout.

Anyway, onwards we roll.

Not many options but the Wolves job became available. 

Will it be a stop gap until a better clubs becomes available or will be sharpen their claws and turn them into title challengers??

Same here but I’ve been enjoying my Welsh save. Thats a complete focus on the further whereas this one is very much about 1/2 seasons and out. Will be my next one.

My key takeaway from this challenge so far is that I am on to something with exploring the 2-2-2-2-2 formation. Been up and down with it so far testing as City and Aberdeen in respective careers.

@MikeF I'm playing a lovely wee Welsh leagues career with Guilsfield picked on the basis they have the smallest ground. Into season 2 and won the Nathaniel MG Cup so far and unbeaten in the league. Something refreshing about signing guys for £40 a week!

2-2-2-2-2 is pretty good in my opinion.

Has been over the last few releases, 

The tactic I am currently using is one that I posted way back in FMM22 days I believe, only made a few tweaks that I found effective in this years version.

Used Aberdeen for it too if I remember right #COYR

Not overly sure.

Think nurturer came from bringing through a lot of youth players,

Bus driver I only got with my Villa season, pretty sure it was from conceding less goals that games,

Both are just guesses as I don't actually know how you go around unlocking them

We don't go back to back to back but good progress and some quality signings on their way end of season.

Looking to push for league title next year.

Anything else is a bonus

I genuinely thought you would do the 20 teams in 20 seasons. Wham-bam! Possibly Wolves being a poor choice but I guess you have to play the teams that are available. Unlucky though. Very good season. Too many draws cost you.

That was the aim!!

Gutted never got it this year.

You're right, far too many. 

The amount of last minute equalisers I've conceded this year is ridiculous.

On the hunt for club number 4 but currently nothing available.

Yeah we don't concede many chances let alone goals with this formation. Only conceded 12 when we mathematically won the league, amd 4 of them were against Bristol City.

Feel like team switches off when you winnit early.

Season 5 Preview

Took until January for anyone to get sacked then both the Spurs and West Ham jobs came up.

Got offered both but with The Hammers sitting rock bottom of the table, Spurs were the obvious choice.

Let's see if we can save their season.

Season 5

Wasn't going to win the league this season but good turn around.

Made it to the FA cup final but lost in the end to my old boys City.

Signed Abraham for a bargain £12 million. Had a great season and ended up top scorer.

Expect a much closer fight for the title in season 6.

I predict a record winning season next year.

Yeah I don't hang about really.

Don't play with highlights, although I am sure when you do you score more goals, just a theory I have.

Don't do much in the transfer market either.

Basically have 2 teams saved, 1 for league, 1 for cups & Europe, load them depending which competition we are playing in.

No messing around when you are trying for 30 seasons

Yeah, I have two teams saved. Just switching between the two is so much easier than individually switching the same players for every match.

The easy bit is done including an end to the Entertainer title even if it does scares wee Julian Alvarez.

The Champions League KO stages were very Europa League-like as we faced Shakthar, Lazio, Sevilla and Milan to take it.

The only blip is that nobody is even insecure in their job PL wise.

All 3 relegated teams sacked their managers but they are the only jobs currently available in the top 2 divisions.

I've been tempted to do a career with De Ketelaere before but never got around to it.

Same tactic yes.

Vicario is a very meh keeper.

Hasn't really developed through the seasons.

Season 7 Preview

On the move again

Season 7

Another year another league.

Flying now.

That's 5 out of 7 now.

Leave Brighton in a great position as brought in some quality up top and at the back.

New German keeper was a great find half way through the season, potential Neuer regen. Up top brought in a classy striker who would have probably scored 60 goals if half of them weren't disallowed with him living offside.

 

But we don't hang around. 

Off to Chelsea we go!!

Applied for both Chelsea and Liverpool jobs but my Liverpool application was rejected instantly, which I found pretty strange, anyway,  their loss.
