Pedro Telmo Zarraonandía Montoya

 

Pedro Telmo Zarraonandía Montoya (20 January 1921 – 23 February 2006), known as Telmo Zarra or simply Zarra, was a Spanish football forward. He spent the majority of his career at Athletic Bilbao, from 1940 to 1955, for whom he remains the top scorer in competitive matches with 335 goals. Zarra signed for Athletic after playing one season for Erandio. He became a prolific goalscorer in his 15 seasons at the club, winning the Pichichi Trophy as the highest scorer in La Liga on six occasions. During his career, Zarra scored a total of 251 league goals,[1] a Spanish record that lasted nearly six decades. His 81 goals in the Copa del Reyremains a record today.

 

 

Challenge Rules

• Load up Spain and any other countries and take charge of any Spannish side (Athletic Bilbao if you want to make it authentic)
• You must sign a Spannish striker from any league below La Liga.
• You have a maximum of 15 seasons in which to replicate Zarra's achievements.
• You must win at least:
  • 1 League Title
  • 5 Spannish Cups
  • Spannish Top Scorer in at least 6 seasons
  • Beat his record of 323 club goals
  • Beat his record of 81 Spannish cup goals
  • Beat the tally of 38 League goals in 1 season
  • Beat his average of 0.97 goals per match
• Own formations only
• No unlockables, edited databases, or use of any of the editors.
• Evidence is required, I'd suggest posting a career thread for us to follow.
• No cheating - Restarting to avoid injuries counts as cheating!!
