Help Lower league players

Just started a save with Coventry City. Anyone else managed at League 1 or lower? 
 

Looking for a players, young, first team or bargains to play at this level and Championship? 
 

I’ve got £2.5m to spend playing a 4-3-2-1 formation

Usually I go to the player search, select transfer listed players and sort them by age. In England I would select only players which don't need a work permit and went from there. Got quite some good players that way, but most of them are regens with this method.

I always buy Tyler Magloire from Blackburn who only cost £800k in my current save.  His 19 pace allows me to play a high defensive line.

I managed to sign a few on my Sunderland save including left back Strinic who although fairly old should be good for a couple of seasons.

R.Innis is a CB usually can get for free as his squad status is not needed .  Try free agents always changing depending on leagues loaded. After that try for loan listed players from bigger clubs, usually search around and can find 1-2 players on loan that pay 0% wage so get em for free year .
