Career Alan Shearer Challenge

I like the sound of this challenge so I've decided to take on Newcastle, will have a look for a player and see where it takes me ive just got prem down to league 2! So this is the guy I've signed! Not a bad player IRL not done to much at leeds atm but a massive talent! Hopefully hes the next shearerrrrrr!

And we are off! Scores on his debut only another 300 odd goals to score how hard can it be lol looks really good for 18! And 14 for finishing... I'll take that anyday!

Bad start to the season but the lad is on fine form! KIU son! Has been called up by the u21s

Cheers lads! Hes just got injured for 2 weeks so missing him quite abit 😕 good result against city! Moved us up to 6th in the league after 10 games

Got absolutely battered by liverpool 7:3 lmao very hard challenge but enjoying it! I've managed to get rid of some of the dead wood for january went they leave, need to get some decent loan signings in to support our young lad! Still got a great goal ratio, always rest him for cup games etc so hes only playing in the PL

 

Hes right up there just behind vardy for top Englishman so cant complain! 

 

Will up load the tactic that I have created:)

Alot harder then I thought but a class challenge! My player can play any position so just finding that right place for him, he has attributes of a TM, poacher, CF etc, trying to work o  his stamina so he last last longer in games! Currently 7th after 23 games so all in all bloody brilliant with a very average team

7th with Newcastle isnt bad at all mate. I estimated the challenge could take upwards of 6/7 seasons depending on how you get on goalscoring. 

I would imagine the first season or two, anything above 15/20 goals is decent for a young striker, then start hitting 30s 3rd season onwards.

Changed my tactic again after letting so many goals in! Hope this one works out, Game of the season for me this! Absolute fantastic result! With my results up and down I am happy where we are! I've been playing this game since fm 17 and every season or 10 newcastle always end up in L2! So my challenge is the shearer one plus just keeping them up every single season is a challenge in itself!

The young man deserves it! Great month with an assist or to, hes a real asset to my squad and I can see him playing for England real soon! 6 in 6 for the U21s Amazing

That's a great start to the challenge @leedsunited87 he should hit 20 goals for the season. I'll be keeping an eye out for updates.

What a season! Absolutely thrilled that we finished in 6th place! In a European place for next year! And of young lad bagged 22 goals and was the english player with the most goals! Guna tie him down for an extra year. The tough 1 will be when the bigger clubs start coming in for him, I will do my best to keep hold of him at all costs, future england international in my book! My in long continue into next year

I know absolutely shocking, will ha e to look at how I can get some better defensive players in yes he was quality all season, hes guna be mint on this game put him on intensive training till the start of the season

Great season mate. Surprise you actually use the IFs and SS for a lone striker challenge. You could try to put more players in the middle to avoid those silly goals conceded

Yeah very true mate, trial and error I guess! Got one of the best loan signings I've ever made. Will update early tomorrow! Very very exciting prospect if not the best keeper in the world!! Keep your eyes peeled

No idea but hes come on loan for a season! City bought that Stegen guy so had him on the transfer list! So cheekily but a loan bid in for him and boom!

Signed this guy for a cheap fee, won't be a 1st team regular but a decent back up

Abit hit and miss this season, thought I'd qualified for europe but ovs not, ryan should beat his 22 goals he hit last season

Much better results and improved on league position. Managed to sign the Brazil keeper on a perm transfer at end of the season, so thata a real coup for us. Ryan doing a amazing as ever! Nearly end of 2 seasons now

Great turnaround considering you were in the bottom half of the table and nice return again for Edmondson. If he keeps this up, shouldn't take you too long to beat Shearer. 😉
