Help What does ! on player in tactics screen Mean?

This is probably a noob question, but I am new to the game. 

What does ! on player in tactics screen Mean? 

Can someone help me out?

It means the player is unhappy in some way. If you go onto the player menu and click “personal” it’ll tell you why.

You are right. But some times the ! appears on the player during a match, and I can't seem to access the screen to find out what it means during matches. And when the match is over, it is gone?

This is due to tiredness usually, I don’t know if how he’s playing may have something to do with it.

Most likely that player starts the match always on the bench, so is unhappy about that and you only see it in the match.

It's tiredness mostly. It will still be there even after the match. Try bringing in a player from outside the matchday squad then you will notice the sign. Just rest the player for a match or two and it will disappear.

It is not players coming off the bench. But tiredness is what I am guessing too.

I've never been able to link it to tiredness - I get it sometimes in players that should not be tired at all.

I've always thought that it's because the player is not happy for some reason - not quite unhappy enough to get the exclamation mark on the normal squad screen or get the reason message on the personal screen, but not quite happy either.

I know that doesn't really make sense, but I think it's a bug (where on that screen the player's happiness level to trigger it is different from the other screens). I've got it with a couple of players now. From memory, they were both unhappy about me selling a player, but after a while that disappeared from the other screens. But I guess they aren't fully happy.

Anyway, a new contract will solve the problem...
