The Last Hurrah

This is my first challenge, so hopefully it starts off well.

 

I've decided to make it easier, so I'm heading to Italy with J̶u̶v̶e̶n̶t̶u̶s̶ Zebre!

Now for the player..

You may know him, his name starts with a C and ends with ristiano.

Only made a few transfers, but hopefully they'll do well. Might change it around in January.

The tactic I'm using has been useful in the past for making more goals go to the striker, and with Ronaldo's ability to play as an AF it should go well.

I looked at the main challenge post again, and I gathered that if they don't score more goals than the previous season then they lose points? Is that right?

Correct, you get 2pts for every goal Ronny scores in seasons 1 and 2 but if he scores less in season 2 than he did in season 1 you have to take off 1pt for every goal he scored less.

Season 1

The season started strong, with only wins or draws for a while. Despite being knocked out in the quarter finals of the Champions League, we finished the season strongly, remaining unbeaten for the final month.

Ronaldo's Season:

Despite being injured for almost a month, Ronaldo was able to be the league's top scorer and easily the club's top scorer.

42 x 2 = 84

Hopefully he'll score more in the second season to avoid losing points!

Well done mate! Thats a great first season and hopefully you can push on and perform even better in the second season, interested to see what transfers your going to make with some ageing players in the squad!

I wasn't expecting him to score this many. I would rest him for 2 games at a time, then play him once and he'd get a hat trick in that game. I also brought in Moukoko on loan in January to make sure the goals didn't get too out of control.

I'm thinking of improving the defence and goalkeeper, because too many games are being lost 1-0 or drawn 1-1. Mainly against mid table teams.

Almost at the end of the second season, and it looks highly likely that Ronaldo will beat his previous goal scoring stat. Also aiming towards winning the champions league to complete a treble.

Spent more than what I wanted, however losing your main goalkeeper does that.

the first season's points was 84 so that gives a total of (84 + 88) 172 !

 

Conclusion:

This challenge was fun and only took around 10 hours to complete. Ronaldo could have scored alot more if he wasn't jaded for around 10 games.
