Tactics 2-2-2-2-2

This tactic has worked wonders for me.

Won the premiership with Arsenal in the first season.

Won la liga with valencia in the first season.

Won the scottish treble with Aberdeen in the first season then got to the semi of the champs league in the 2nd season while also winning the treble again.

Wingbacks need good crossing.

Strikers need good aerial. 

Rest are just as you like. 

Seems to work plug and play with the teams I've tried so far.

Definitely works best when your team chemistry is high and players used have good teamwork.

Obviously want good pacy centre backs who have good passing also.

Would love some feedback.

Tried it with Real Sociedad, finished 4th and lost Europa League’s final against Juventus in extra time.

2x fitness

2x attacking

Intense training

Goal keeper as goal keeper

Centre backs as Ball playing

Wing backs as Wing backs

Roaming mids as Centre mids

Inside Forwards as Inside forwards

You have intense training for all players ? Not have many injuries ?

1x rehab 

Helps reduce chances of injury but yes it can happen

Ok thanks but what coaching style you have ? And you choose players for best squad from curent abillity or value ? Or wich is best ?

Pls how did ur  domestic player bias increase because m in my 3rd season brought 5 players only fr d EPL buh its still low.

Domestic player bias refers to player nationality, so will increase when you buy English players for English clubs.

I love this shape. I tried it with Lihue 1 teams. Newly promoted, mid table, and challenger. 

 

I got a lot of red cards. Maybe switch to normal tackling. 

 

Played 10 games each. I brought in some players for Clermont but only domestic free agents. 

Nice and OL were unchanged

Tried it again with Leverkusen, good team with some good offensive player. Bought Nunez, Raspadori and take Onana on loan, sold Amiri and Demirbay.

Won the league thanks to a half suicide of Bayern, 83 goals scored but some defensive problems, especially against smaller team.

In the cups a lot of bad luck, come out undeserved in both, especially against Dortmund but Haaland is just too good.

If you're referring to my arsenal save my entire team is english, that is why.

Buy players from the nation your club is from, its that simple

So far it has been an absolute beast, and not much wrong with the scoring either.  I know it’s the Championship but Lewis Grabban and Lyle Taylor are 33 and 31 respectively and are banging them in!

To be honest I'd class the teams I've tried it with as fairly "big" teams so haven't found any issues.

Currently trying with pressing forwards.

Perhaps try changing mentality to control?

I know it’s only one match, but this is half of my first XI and half of my reserves at home to a much bigger club (at present), with nothing changed!

Might be a bit too attacking for lesser clubs such as Clermont.

A team that would probably struggle any.

I'd suggest trying either counter or control mentality and see how it goes

So I won the league, no changes made to the tactics, my only concerns are first of all conceding goals, but it is a very openly attacking tactic, and my players - Grabban and Taylor will be too old and not good enough for the Prem, all 4 of my wing-backs are on loan, as are James Garner and Philip Zinckernagel, I’ll have to utilise the loan market and hope I can find some good young bargains, 2022/23 I feel will be tough as so many new players need to gel!

Great to see mate, superb work.

Yeah know the feeling, think now youre up you'll manage to get a good few loanees in.

Hopefully fill the gaps with even better players.
