Agreed. As @Superking said, if it only happens sometimes, and you’re posting these for fun, then 👍

However if anyone is genuinely annoyed + it’s happening to you more regularly - then yes it’s probably your tactics or your players - here’s some common issues which I posted in the middle of this thread’s page <here>

It's something I noticed after scoring all the on target shots at the start of the game. It read 0 shots on target.

That's a good shortlist of common and rather popular tactical approaches. Most are fine in the right context and in the right amount, and actually reflect trends in football itself (IF, over-obsession with youngsters and less aerially dominant center forwards).

However people do take it too far with their FMM saves most of the time.

FMM 23 edition. We missed all three clear cut chances. Like player decisions doesn't mean anything in this game anymore. By the way Spurs two goals was a corner and free kick 😄

Anyone ever had this thing where your opponent score immediately when you tap on your "tactic" during corner or under 1-minute after kick off. 7/10 is a guaranteed goal from your opponent if you did this.

Lmao, all of this is unlikely to be true. I had this joke where you can "make tactical changes to cancel set piece highlights".

What's probably happening if you are noticing a pattern in the match engine. You usually start seeing patterns in the match engine after playing FM for some time.

Glad it’s not just me. This is a constant issue for me. Feel like the only way to win games 90% of the time is to outdo your opponent with shots on target by about 4/1. Every other shot on target for the opposition is a goal, no matter who my goalkeeper or defence. Been like this since last years I think.

Wasn't like this last year for me, this year's edition is a regular occurrence. We average at least one clear cut chance missed per game . Like i said player decisions doesn't mean a anything anymore 💀💀. Have been seeing corners are being exploited which has been normal to me. Need that corner exploit so bad if the game will be screwing be over wins like this

Sorry but I'm back again, it might appear I'm just whining but the game is really getting on my nerves. We missed all clear cut chances with my only goal being from a corner. And the match is one of three games to decide the title and the game is about to make me lose it. It's getting unplayable

As well as the issues stated above anyone else struggle with opposition goalkeepers always getting at least a 7 rating, and mostly 8s or 9s. They stop 95% of my shots on target I’m sure of it 😂

This game is pure pain 😂

had some massive games in the run in for the Premier League, kept getting results like this:

which meant me losing out to Liverpool by 2 points

and then the cherry on the cake with this FA Cup final:

2 long term injuries, a red card and conceded a last minute equaliser. Definitely finding this years more frustrating than fun

Though we won the game, the amount of clear cut chances missed was appalling, 8 by the way. I already conceded that have lost the game already till the game pitied me 😄
