Help Realistic 4231 tactic?

Does anyone have a realistic 4231 they use,I'm playing Dortmund. Can't seem to get consistent use out of if position. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

What's your mean of "realistic“？

Personally I like my 4231 / 4213

• normal back 4
• designated defensive midfielder (BWM) + mobile midfielder (B2B) combo.
• only one playmaker
• four advanced players (AM/Fs) committed to a high press.
