  1. This thread is intended as a place you can recommend players you who you feel are a bargain for any club in a top division and cost less than £20m (or the equivalent of 20m of your local currency) and show how well they developed and performed for you. It is also a place where you can find recommendations for players you might not yet have used or even heard of before. In order to make this thread as useful as possible please follow these guidelines when you post. The player needs to have cost less than 20m £ € or $ and you signed him for a club in the top flight. Please post a screenshot of his attributes. Please provide some information such as what club you bought him for and what he and you have achieved together. You don’t need to do a long write up and screenshots on there own is ok. Please don’t post about a player you have edited the attributes, potential ability or current ability or because clearly he won’t perform as well for other people. No regens. Please keep posts to either recommendations or asking questions about a player so that other people don’t have to wade through lots of “banter” to find recommendations. You can find the other Player Recommendations Threads here.

  3. He is a south African talent he is a striker In my leeds save he got 9 goals off the bench after two years development He Starts really cheap at value off 65K With development He got to 29.8 Mil Value i sold him to And got 32Mil for him I Hoped i helped
  4. Here is a player who I have founded in the 2nd season of free transfer. He is a goal machine which suitable from lower league to Premier League. Although he is not a top player for Premier League, he is useful for you team to fight with the relegation. Also, I have seen him has been released by wolves many times in other saves, so I hope it is useful for you guys to find a goal machine. Moreover, I know this topic is rare and less people talk about. Therefore, I hope if there are anyone can provide other quality players from the 2nd season free transfers for low league. And hope this will be a new guide for fmm players.
  5. I hope for this to be a discussion where others post cheap utility players that they have also found and praise or bemoan the player's usefulness. I know a lot of people that post here are managing Tier 1 teams, but I'm currently managing Crewe Alexandra in EFL League Two. So cheap for me currently means below £250K (really below £100K). It seems there are plenty of +£1M wonderkids posted here - I'd like to see a few lower league cheap players. In my mind utility means the player is listed as Natural (bright green), Accomplished (dark green), or Competent (bright yellow) in 5 or more positions. If they are not found in 5 positions but are natural, accomplished, or competent in some unusual combination of positions, that counts too. For example, if they are Natural as a Attacking Midfielder and Midfielder on the right and left and Competent as a right and left defender and striker (D RL, ST) - that is unusual to me. I took over Crewe in October of 2018, they were at the bottom of League Two with their wages over budget and less than £90K for transfers. So, here are four versatile players I've brought into my club. DUD - Warren Clarke (Sheff Wed) Here is Clarke when I first scouted him. I got him on a Bosman in the 2019 Summer window for free and less wages. But his value dropped £50K; his current and potential ability ratings dropped to 1 and 1 after acquiring him. He does a decent job of filling positions off the bench but rarely rates higher than a 7. I usually have to sub him out if I start him. The board and fans called it "bad business". Now in the 2020 January window, he has seen some slight increase in his abilities and ratings. I'm still hopeful he will turn out better. STUD - Carlos Mendes Gomes (Morecambe) This is Gomes at the beginning of the game. I acquired Gomes for £35K in the 2019 Summer window with a £1.7K wage. He has an okay form with 3 goals and 6 assists in 16 games. His abilities and coaches ratings have increased. This is Gomes in the 2020 January window. STUD - Otis Khan (Mansfield) This is Khan at the start of the game. I first brought Khan in on loan in the 2019 January transfer window. Crewe Alexandra was struggling in the relegation zone of League Two when I took over and Kahn helped significantly in our fight to pull up to 19th out of 24th. Khan played 14 games on loan to Crewe and scored 6 goals with 2 assists. I've kept an eye on Khan and he seems unused at Mansfield. As I've managed to deal my way into some funds, I recently acquired him in the 2020 January window for £140K and £2.2K in wages (he wanted £3K). Here is Khan at the start of his new tenure at Crewe. ??? - Jordan Cranston (Morecambe) Here is Cranston at the beginning of the game. I only just scouted Cranston in the Fall of 2019. I couldn't believe what I was seeing when I found him. The abbreviation of his positions is so long it doesn't fit the column in the game. Here it is so that you know, D/WB RL, DM, AM LC. That still seems short compared to the positions displayed in the game. My scouts were rating him at 1 star but I decided to take a gamble on him by bringing him in on loan in the 2020 January window. I attached a £20K buyout and Morecambe is paying 100% of his £1.5K wage. After bringing him into the club, the coaches now rate him as a 2 / 2.5. I think he will make a great versatile sub, but only time will tell. Here is Cranston on loan in the 2020 January window. I hope other lower league managers find this useful. If you are playing below a tier 1 league and have found great utility players that are truly cheap, please share them.
  6. Better than any midfielder I used in the exam. Versatile GOAT. Assists and passes like at every millisecond. Cheap Wonderkid? Yes Cheap Midfielder? Yes Hotel? Trivago.
  7. Reasonably Priced Wonderkids-Goalkeepers in the UK Reasonably Priced Wonderkids-Central Defenders in the UK Reasonably Priced Wonderkids-Fullbacks/Wingbacks in the UK Reasonably Priced Wonderkids Defensive Midfielders in the UK Before we start I would like to point out that I wanted the title to say Defensive Minded Midfielders. What does that mean? Any player whose main position is DM or any player whose role is a defensive role in the MC position. What are defensive roles(by my definition) you ask? Central Midfielder Deep Lying Midfielder Ball Winning Midfielder And with that out of the way, here's a list of 10 players I think have decent potential. (also I set a limit of 10 teamwork, which might seem low but given how I've recently discovered how to improve teamwork I think I can loosen up on the restrictions a little) 1. Aaron Hicky. Potential: 6.8/10 Asking Price: 26k Stimulated Growth: 2. Oliver Pendlebury. Potential: 6.4/10 Asking Price: 170k Stimulated Growth: 3. Ryan De Havilland. Potential: 6.2/10 Asking Price: 120k Stimulated Growth: 4. Ethan Erhahon. Potential: 6.4/10 Asking Price: 26k Stimulated Growth: 5. Atli Barkarson. Potential: 6.4/10 Asking Price: 170k Stimulated Growth: 6. Dean Campbell Potential: 6.6/10 Asking Price: 45k Stimulated Growth: 7. Max Bird Potential: 6.4/10 Asking Price: 170k Stimulated Growth: 8. Archie Thomas Potential: 6.4/10 Asking Price: 130k Stimulated Growth: 9. Jack Thomson Potential: 6.4/10 Asking Price: 28k Stimulated Growth: 10. Matthew Worthington Potential: 6.6/10 Asking Price: 35k Stimulated Growth: Boy are there a few gems there! Looks like I'm creating a LLM goldmine right here. That's it for today's edition, and I'll be back tomorrow with Attack Minded Midfielders.
  8. Alright for this post in the newly started Reasonably Priced Wonderkids series we will be looking at central defenders in the UK(England, Scotland and Wales). In addition to manually scouting players with the IGE, I also added in an additional criteria of at least 10 teamwork. The reason for that is teamwork influences/indicates a players work rate, and naturally you wouldn't want a 'lazy' defender hence the 10 teamwork cut-off. The reason I'm saying this is to point out I may have missed out a few great players Anyway, with that out of the way here is my shortlist: 1. Dominic Revan. Potential: 6.2/10 Asking Price: 200k Stimulated Growth: 2. Sam Allardyce. Potential: 6.4/10 Asking Price: 35k Stimulated Growth: 3. Corrie Ndaba. Potential: 6.2/10 Asking Price: 110k Stimulated Growth: 4.Kerr Waddell. Potential: 6.8/10 Asking Price: 300k Stimulated Growth: 5.Easah Suliman. Potential: 6.4/10 Asking Price: 0k Stimulated Growth: 6.Nathan Sheron. Potential: 6.4/10 Asking Price: 180k Stimulated Growth: And those six were the best I could find! Too many BPDs for my taste but oh well... Also, I would like to take this time to say that while I try to make the stimulated growth as accurate as possible it isn't 100% accurate. And I also leave a bit of space for the players to grow, so I can safely guarantee that if you buy these players in-game and develop them their attributes will grow beyond what I've posted. Oh and another thing, if you guys feel like there's anything I need to clarify feel free to ask me. That's the end, and thank you for reading!
  9. Hello guys, Today I will be sharing about this player I have been intrigued since his announcement for signing for Borussia Dortmund from Nantes last year. Name:Kamal Bafounta Ortega Age: 16 Height:1.93m Without Further ado, here we go! Here is his base stats at start of season 1 His strongest stats include Aerial Ability(14,undoubtedly),Strength(12),Agression(12) Looks nothing alike to Pogba’s stats... 2 Seasons on, His stats still look nothing like Pogba’s but there are a few greens. His value has risen significantly from £325k to £6.5m! Performance wise,I personally felt he plays pretty well for a young player. He was really solid for all the 41 games he played for me in that 41 games.Probably my favourite aspect about him was the price you could get, though I may not be sure if he is superb for that price.I signed him on £500k at the start of first season and by the end of the second season,I sold him for £15M.The profit may be minimal for a big team but for a smaller team in perhaps championship or lower,That money may come crucial Verdict: He is in no way close to Pogba standards however I feel he would a great bargain player if you are doing a lower division career mode.Hopefully,We will see this man achieve his potential of being the next “Pogba” Small little updates as I progress through my save: He has some small improvements such as Passing(+1),Stamina(+3),Strength(+2) Form: I would say not too bad however I expected slightly more from him due to the fact that he is playing in the championship but I’m not going to go too hot on him as he was really just a 500k signing and I don’t expect him to go full ham Pogba in just a few Seasons.
  10. With Manchester United set sign the Porto wonderkid right back Diogo Dalot, I thought I would highlight the other right back from arch rivals Benfica. Anyone who has payed a career with Benfica will know that they are blessed with lots of youth talent that prove to be outstanding players given the right training and game time. I thought I would focus on one, Alex Pinto. He starts of in the SLB "B" team and has decent all round stats for a RB at just 18. Six years later and he he possibly the best all round right back in the game.
  11. So this guys starts at Manchester City, but is out on loan the first season: Starting like this: After 7 years he looks like this: I think his stats would have been better if he played more, but in my save he is the back-up of the back ups
  12. Hey guys ! I just want to show u the best bargain I've ever seen...! Lautaro Martinez is a striker from Boca Junior (Argentina). I just scout him with a 4 stars potential, buy him for 6.25M€, but after 3 matches of ligue 1 with Marseille, he is already a legend ! You have to buy him !
  13. Just throwing this out to anybody playing a lower league save, in my last two saves now I signed Patrick Hoban as a free agent and he has been very prolific. 12 shooting and 11 technique make for a very effective lower leagues striker. In my current save with Elgin City he has 27 goals in 24 appearances. Has anybody else signed him and had similar success?
  14. Name: Victor Gyökeres Age (2017-18): 19 Club: IF Brommapojkarna Asking price: 975k Leagues loaded: England (Moving to Brighton IRL) brightonandhovealbion.com. https://www.brightonandhovealbion.com/siteassets/image/under-23s/viktor-august-2017.jpg. Accessed 1 December 2017. Victor (at the start of an England save) No screenshot unfortunately as I thought he was back-up at best. And I was happily proven wrong. Victor after 15 months at Fulham Incredible. Wonder goal featuring Vik (the audio is really bad unfortunately) Strengths Can play in various styles of teams. In a physical team, he will look to run at the defence (dribbling) and capitalise on mistakes. In a passing team, his physicality, aggression and teamwork allows him to retain the ball well. Takes his chances well, does disappear sometimes (as do most youth) but opponents can ill-afford to present him with an opening. Low wage demands for a player of his quality. Does not require a work permit - until Brexit of course. Weaknesses A poor free-kick taker. Poor leadership - he would appreciate support from senior attackers.
  15. These players were my young stars in the first season. I don't share players like Weigl or Isak 1. Mattia Vitale 2. Nabil Bentaleb 3. Jerry St. Juste 4. Alex Meret 5. Jadon Sancho 6. Elias Abouchabaka
  16. Name: Lovro Majer Age: 20 Club: Dinamo Zagreb Position: M/AMC Pref Role: Advanced Playmaker
  17. Please forgive me for the annoying status bar at the top, it comes on anytime I try to get a screenshot.* First up is the only non Celtic player on the list, Manor Solomon At the start: 3 years in: You can pick him up for 1.5/2 mil, and he will develop into a solid player capable of playing as either a Winger or an Inside Forward depending on how you train him. Next up are some great hidden gems you can find at Celtic. Although I believe they will only show up if you load up the Scottish league. Before: After 3 years: Some really cheap players that grow on to become solid back-up choices for top teams or key players for mid-lower teams.
  18. Each and every year there always seems to be a Brazilian midfielder that stands out from the crowd. Last year it was Arthur Melo, as his reasonable transfer value made him a must buy for the majority of careers, that and his absolutely god-like attributes in game. This year sees the trend continue with non other than Flamengo central midfielder Lucas Paquetá capturing the imagination of the community. With a value of £3.2m at the start of the game this midfielder will more than likely go down as the bargain of the year. Attributes such as 16 in dribbling and technique, 15 in passing and 14 in creativity, decisions and movement makes this man the perfect Advanced Playmaker. With his 14 in Stamina, Strength and Pace he could easily slot into the centre of midfield and boss proceedings from there, or if you want him in a more advanced AMC position, that is also there for the taking. Day One: Season Three: Thanks for reading
  19. Name: Harry Winks Age: 21 Club: Tottenham Hotspur Position: Midfielder Player Role: Advanced Playmaker Attributes at the start of game: Attributes after 1 season - NO Intensive Training: Quite surprised how well he developed in my recent career. Initially planned to loan out but decided against it and keep him in the squad for back up. He grabbed his chance during a couple games I gave him and he's basically been my 12th man ever since. He does often start games as well tho and he's likely to replace a starter in the near future if he keeps these greens up as well as his performance. I haven't used him a lot as an Advanced Playmaker, as I've got APs a line in front of him already, but the times he did play as one he did very well. I've been using him as a Central Midfielder mostly and alternatively as a Deep Lying Playmaker because the team needed one, that's what a 12th man does, right? He performs both roles well enough but it's no surprise AP fits him the best. Harry Winks is one of those players that is probably in the wrong team at the wrong time with already very good, maybe too good, competition for places such as Dele Alli, Eriksen, Dembele, Wanyama as CMs so it's not unlikely that he gets overlooked by managers more often than not. But I'm saying he's a class player and definitely deserves a fair shot at a starting spot 2-3 seasons into your career. Or I suggest snatching him away quick before anyone else discovers him and he becomes too expensive. He's "only" 50M here but in my 3rd season he doubled his price already to 112M. So he'll be worth it. If you try him out please let me know how he does for you.
  20. Been quite suprised that this young lad had slipped under everyone's radar and almost not a single mention of him... ( *shock* ) But anyways i present to you "Mini Iniesta" ( Sort Of ), Carles Aleña! 1st Season Of IT : Overlooked his sheer potential at the start but since i've gotten Havertz ( The More Popular ) out On Loan for game time, Aleña has shine through, eventually succeeding Iniesta in my starting XI Summary : Great player ( In-Game & IRL ) and with great care, he will turn your midfield into one of the very best there is! ☺☺☺ So with that said, hopefully... Many will give some attention to this wonderful lad, because this lad is one who have every right to warrant ones attention.... Anyway bye for now! ???
