Hi everyone! I'm Devil 03 and today I will tell you all that there are three types of tackling styles.

A Look At The Types Of Tackling Styles

The Three Tackling Styles - Commited, Normal, Cautious.

Commited - Your players will go all out to get the ball and often resort on last ditch tackles and sliding       tackles, thus increasing the chances of getting booked.

The Benefits & Drawbacks

+ More tackles can be won

+ Players with immense strength and aggression can are suited to commited tackling

- More bookings can be earned as a result of hard tackles

- If you don't have players who can time their tackle perfectly, it can lead to severe consequences

Normal - It's a combination of both Commited and Cautious whereas the player can attempt a tackle if he's confident of winning it.

The Benefits and Drawbacks

+ Players will attempt more suitable tackles

- Players might not win the ball more effectively

Cautious - Players will often back off the opponent until when is necessary and basically means you'll get less bookings but chances of winning the ball are slim because your players will aim to intercept instead of tackling.

The Benefits and Drawbacks

+ less bookings

+ More interceptions by your players

- Less chances of winning the ball

- Unable to dominate possession

I'd say add in players that suit each style mate like low aggression wouldn't be any good on committed style as they don't have the fire in their to do it to top effect

Or a player with low tackling would be best for a cautious style

But good article in all

IMO, if you request your defenders to committed tackling who with low tackling and decision, he will easy be passed and lost his position. Cautious tackling can help to keep defending shape.
