Career Talisman Attempting The Converted Winger Challenge.

I was looking through the various challenges posted and reading some of the stories ongoing at the moment and the one that caught my eye is http://vibe.community/forums/topic/38142-the-converted-winger-challenge/

I will be juggling this challenge with my ongoing St. Albans story, purely so i don't overdo it and get bored.

So lets get started.

The Converted Winger Challenge

I thought who better to use than the one and only Barcelona

Choosing the player was probably as easy as it gets due to them not having many options as most of them can play upfront but although it being an easy choice, it was a fairly good choice.

Season 1

It was a long season trying to correct my tactic but how did we do?

Transfers

Competitions

Spanish Super Cup:

Lost it on away goals

European Super cup:

Took penalties to win it but its a win nonetheless.

Spanish Cup:

Couldn't take the pressure of the penalty shoot-out.

Europa League:

Came 3rd in Champions League group stage due to messing about tactic wise but it probably did the challenge some good as Tello strikes us to another trophy.

League:

This was a very tight affair as it usually is in this league:

Awards

Tello claims World Player Of The Year

Messi claims Spanish Player Of The Year with Tello Runner-Up

And of course, i grab myself Manager Of The Year

The Man Himself

There was a little injury scare which led onto further worries as the season grew.

Decent looking stats at the end of the season

We did it with games to spare as he decided to go on drought after his injury and liked assisting everyone else.

Season 2

This was as close as it gets, nail-biting right till the end. Instead of me talking about it, let me show you!

Another loss on away goals, this is becoming a habit now -,-

More than happy to regain this trophy

Poor effort at home cost us the champions league

Poor season from us really but Real Madrid walked away with it regardless.

Award:

Our only award goes to Messi.

The Man Himself:

When i said this was as close as it gets... I was not lying.

This was the final game of the season....

We managed it in on the last match of the season! I couldn't be more relieved because believe me, i did not want to post a failure so early on!

This was an up and down season but could my player reach the 30 goals needed?

Finally away goals go in my favour,

Real Madrid got there own back by knocking me out.

This was just an embarrassing defeat that i wish to forget about quickly.

The league is mine again!

He did it! Didn't beat it by a mile but he got the 30 goals nonetheless.

This was one hell of a season. Not for the team, but for my chosen player!

Won the super cup without much of an issue due to our home leg.

2 disallowed goals knocks us out of the Spanish Cup

So lets talk about the legend that is Ocampos... This time i am going to do something different and show his "history" in December.

So before we even got to January, we had already completed the target for the season..... So how did we finish?

Wow.... Just wow. No words can be said for this season.
